ALEX'S POV

I was sitting by the small lake waiting and waiting for my mate it seemed like for ever but its only been twenty min's since I left everyone at the pack house. I looked upto the moon it was shinning high in the sky and it had a blue aroua around it hense the name blue moon but there seemed something powerfull about it I never felt like this before I felt strong and powerfull. I could hear all the animals scurring on the ground insects chirping in the night it wasn't hectic it seemed peacefull I closed my eyes and just listened. I zoned out I couldn't hear the animals or the insects all I could hear was the water in the lake moving. I was at broken out of my trace by a spooked animal running away. my eyes shot open my hearing and sight became sharpened I look to left to right in the front and to the behind me. I saw a little mouse running away from a snake on the other side of the lake.

a hour had passed my wolf and I was getting impatiant having to wait he was clawing at me to get out I had to be carefull if he got control over me he go after his mate right now and claim them. I stood up from the ground I started pacing up and down running my hands through my hair letting out a sigh thoughts running through my head the main one in particular was after tonight I be mated to my mate and I will spend the rest of my life with them with him. I knew who my mate was deep down everything lead to Riley the sparks every time he touch me and me being able to sense where he was.

I stopped pacing as I became more relaxed my arms flopped to my side but my wolf was growing if more frastrated I decided to let him out giving him sometime to calm down. i srtipped out of the robes closed my eyes and willed the change my body breaking and shifting into place fur ripping through my skin the change didn't take long i out stretch my wolf body my front legs out in front of me my claws kneederling the ground. my sight and hearing became even more highten thanks to the change. i had him under control i started walking well trotting around i heard a noice from behind me i turned around my body went in defensive mode i let out a little growl my eyes scanning to where i heard the noice comming from there was a little rabbit hunting for food my front legs began to move i sprinting after the rabbit it bolted i was right behind it i was playing with it swiping my front paw at it gently it kept darting in and out of cover changing directions but i was always there waiting. i climbed over logs and twigs kept hitting my in my face the wind wind was blowing through my fur me and my wolf was enjoying it the chase the freedom the rabbit scurried down a hole after about ten min's of running i just laid at the entrance with one paw in the hole trying to get it back out "come here little guy i'm not going to hurt you i just want to play." i said through my mind but it never did back out.

i decided to give up and continue in my walk so i got up and carried on but not far as i knew Riley would be here soon after 30 mins of walking i turned round and ran part of the back to the lake as i was running i could hear the wolfves howling through the place signaling they hav found their mates i was about five min's away form the lake i willed myself to change back to my human self but my wolf was having none of it he kept pushing me back he kept bashing into trunks of trees rolling around on the ground he kept trying to run to his mate but i wouldn't allow it. my hands kept shifting from my hands to my paws as we thought for control.

"why are you fighting me wolf we get our mate we will have time to play love hunt together we have forever with him." i said resurring my wolf.

 i couldn't believe i was talking to mysellf  well kind off he seemed to of settlled a little bit but he was still fighting. it took me awhile but i got control of my body and my wolf resided my body changed back i was walking back my sight went back to normal i took up my position by the lake again i'm not dont that again i thought to myself ever i almost lost control.
