The doorbell rang thrice and Draco headed down the hallway towards the door after watching a muggle television show in his bedroom about murder and mysterious disappearances. He grabbed his wallet over the counter and opened the door briskly, once again taking the pizza box without a word with the pizza deliverer, and shoving muggle money onto the man. He nearly closed the door until he heard someone yelp, "oi! You with the platinum blonde hair!"
Taken by surprise, Draco slowly opened the door and peered around it, watching the delivery person walking back to their muggle vehicle and saw the same long-haired girl from earlier that day staring at him from down the sidewalk. She approached Draco by the door and stared him down upset, over the rude first interaction the two had earlier that day.
"I deserve an apology, don't you think? After rudely walking away after I asked you a question! You could have said that you didn't know if you hadn't! I mean, how hard is it to spe-" Draco quickly cut her off of her long rant and forced her inside his house, and pinned her against the wall next to his door as it shut forcefully. He pressed his hand against her neck tightly as he spoke tightly against his curled lips, "Do not speak to me that way or you'll regret it." With that, he released her and opened the door, beginning to push her out of his apartment until he realized that he was returning back to the habit of enforcing a cold front. Draco grabbed her wrist just as she was turning to leave herself and stopped her abruptly. She peered back with curious yet cautious eyes.
"Would you-would you want to visit a coffee shop with me sometime?" Draco asked cunningly, a soft tinge in his voice, as he forced to appear polite towards the now agitated girl.
"Excuse me? You just put me in a chokehold and indirectly told me to fuck off! What would make you think I would get coffee with you?" She questioned him forcefully, fierce confidence blazing in her eyes. By the sight, Draco's eyes flashed with his assertive dominance, not used to other people counteracting him, but returned to a practical stance. He cursed under his breath, viewing the interaction as a failing attempt, and would have pushed her out of his apartment if she hadn't blurted out, "I'll get coffee with you!"
By this, Draco was taken aback, he didn't really think that the muggle would agree to get coffee with him, after all, he came off as being extremely rude. However, recently moved to London from the United States, she had no friends or family around her, and she for sure needed to begin somewhere. The girl continued on softly saying, "My name is Jenavieve by the way. Jenavieve Park."
"And my name is Draco, Draco Malfoy," Draco said roughly back.
"Would you like my number, and let me know when you're available for coffee?" she asked, now looking forward to having social interaction and getting to know this Malfoy boy.
"Your what?" Draco questioned with a genuine puzzled look on his face.
"My number...my telephone number. Do you not have a cell phone?" She questioned, intrigued by the complexity of this man.
"Bloody muggles" Draco muttered under his breath, "what is a telephone?" he expressed irritated, impatient with the complexity of muggles.
"Are you bloody serious?" astonished, Jenavieve's bubbly eyes widened.
"I think we should go telephone shopping and tell you all about it before we go to a coffee shop!" Jenavieve continued and giggled slightly.
"I'll see you here at your door, tomorrow, around 4 in the afternoon? I don't have work tomorrow, and I live a few apartments down." she offered to the tall ridged man as he stared back at her. Draco only nodded and ushered her out of his house as she turned swiftly and hobbled down his front porch steps.
