{Rosaleene}
"I am going to use the bathroom and catch you guys on the lesson" I said and they nodded. Our lesson was in 15 minutes, so I had time.
After washing my hands, I looked myself on the mirror and saw the reflection of professor Lupin walking in the corridor. I quickly dried them with paper and ran outside.
He heard my steps and turned towards me, giving me a little smile.
"Mrs Wilson, come on. We have a class to show up" he said waiting for me and we started walking together.
"Head Girl, huh?" he asked smirking while we were crossing the corridors without looking at me.
"Well, yes" I answered simple smiling.
"I'm not surprised, though" he snorted and I looked at him confused, "What do you mean?".
We stopped in front of the class's door, when he looked me in the eyes and sighed, "I said it for good. I have seen your files, you are an excellent student. With just some anger issues, but it's not mentioned anywhere. Just my opinion". I wide opened my eyes, that was seriously something I wouldn't expect anyone say to me, especially my teacher.
"I don't have anger issues!" I snapped and he looked at me meaningful, raising his eyebrows.
"See? I told you" he said proud of himself and I tried my best not to smile. He moved his hand up and signaled me to get in the class, so I did. I sat on the desk next to Amy who gave me a warm smile.
"Good morning, class!" I heard his voice from behind and saw Amy twisting her body to see him, but I didn't.
"Today we will take it easy, at first I want to get to know you" he said and his brown hazel eyes were wandering in the room, at each student.
"I will go first", he breathed and sat on his desk leaning his body to the left.
"My name is Remus Jhon Lupin, I am from England and this is the first time I am teaching in a school" he said and I've heard some girls behind me whispering.
"It's your turn now. Don't be shy, I want to know about you!" he said encouraging the students and he stood up, taking a few steps towards the first line with desks.
"Let's start from you, come on" he said friendly and a boy from Ravenclaw stood up.
"I am Michael, from Ravenclaw" he introduced himself standing up.
"And what do you like to do, Michael?" professor Lupin asked him sitting on his desk again, listening carefully.
"Uhm I really like astrology" he confessed and professor Lupin grasped surprised.
"That's brillian, who is next?" he asked and this kept happening for a long time until it was Amy's and my turn.
"I am Amy Smith, from Gryffindor and I don't really do much on my free time, thank you" she said and the professor snorted.
"Very nice Amy, nice to meet you" he nodded and then his eyes met mine.
"Well", I coughed akward standing up, "I am Rosaleene Wilson, I am a Gryffindor and there isn't something really important that defines me, like astrology or anything" I said staring at him. He made a few steps forward, although they were two rows of desks between us.
"Well, your pin on your robe says otherwise" he said raising his eyebrows and I unconsciously glanced on my clothes.
"Well, I don't believe that something like this makes you automatically better than the others" I stood up and he frowned, "That's not what I said".
"Yes, but this is what you meant-"
"Mrs Wilson, don't misunderstand my words" he interrupted and I raised my eyebrow.
"I don't actually, I think this is exactly what you wanted to say". He exhaled, and passed his tongue in the inside of his lips tightening his jaw.
"Who is the next one? Yes, you mrs stand up" he totally ignored me and went to the next students. I felt Amy's hand pulling me down, and I sat back to my chair.
"What was that?" she whispered and I shook my shoulders.
"Honestly, no idea" I said staring at him while he was dealing with the other students.
I was really thinking that I might had overreacted a little. But it was like a feeling that I wanted him to know that I am smart, that I understand his words. That we can communicate with maturity, but what I did was wrong especially on his first day. I hope I didn't screw things up.
"Yo, wake up. The bell rang" Amy woke me up from my thoughts and I looked around lost.
"I want to say something to professor Lupin. I will find you in a little at the Great Hall" I said and she nodded understanding. Amy knows that I will always defend myself, but also apologise if I did something wrong and I always make my self clear. That's why she didn't say anything.
"Mrs Wilson, won't you go to have lunch?" he asked when we were alone.
He was organizing some things on his desk, keeping himself busy.
"Actually, I wanted to talk to you. About what happened before" I explained and he stopped his moves, locking his eyes with mine.
"There is no need to apologize, mrs Wilson" he said smiling and I frowned.
"I wasn't going to apologize..?" it sounded more like a question from me.
"You said something, and when I answered you said that this is not what you meant. But that's exactly what you did" I said confident and he shook his head, laughing.
"Of course you wouldn't apologise, but that's okay" he said and I gasped surprised. Excuse me?
"You know what? I don't care professor Lupin. I should just ignore it and do what the rest of the students do, shut their mouth and don't standing up for themselves" I said annoyed, trying to keep my tone down.
"Mrs Wilson, you have every right to stand up for yourself. But you really misunderstood my words, and I can't understand why you keep attacking me like this" he crossed his arms on his chest. Confusion was the main expression on his face.
I sighed, and he was absolutely right. It is something natural that I always do.
"I am sorry if I screwed up your first day" I breathed looking away a little embarassed and he snorted.
"It's okay. You made it really interesting, actually" he said and I smiled, turning my head towards him.
"Oh, and yesterday I didn't mean to put you in an akward position when I asked about your friends. It's not my business anyway" I said and he nodded his head understanding.
"It's okay, don't even think about it" he smiled and I did the same.
"Have a good day" he said when I was walking and I turned around, "You too".
