Chapter 3- The Prophecy

Storm's POV

After talking to those 2 rogues that Shade and his patrol found, I decided to call it a day. I sat down in my den and my Alpha mate Echo started chatting with me.
"Did the talk go well?" She asked.
"Well, considering they didn't fight us, I guess it went pretty well." I answered.
"Your tired aren't you?" Echo questioned.
"I guess it has been a long day and it is getting late, so I'm going to sleep." I confessed.
"Well, I guess I'll take over since your tired." She sighed, getting up from her sitting position and walked out of the den. I then groggily went from my sitting position to a sleeping position. I was seriously tired. I had hunted with one of the hunting patrols, and I had to tell everyone today's duties and such, which was annoying because some of my wolves were clueless and confused about what to do even though we did most of it everyday. I closed my eyes, and fell into a deep slumber.

~~~Dream~~~

I was in an empty void, filled with nothingness. I looked around seeing nothing but darkness. I kept looking and looking, until I found a spot of light and started walking towards it. I started hearing words. "The Eclipse's Shadow will save the pack from the moon." It said. The closer I got to the light, the louder the voices got. They kept repeating the same message over and over again. "The Eclipse's Shadow will save the pack from the moon. The Eclipse's Shadow will save the pack from the moon." I sprinted and sprinted towards the light, hoping that I could somehow escape the voices. I closed in on the light and I jumped through.

~~~End of Dream~~~

I woke up in my den, shocked by what had just happened in my dream. I repeated what the voices said. "The Eclipse's Shadow will save the pack from the moon. The Eclipse's Shadow will save the pack from the moon." I kept muttering it to myself. Hoping that if I kept repeating it, something would come up and let me understand it. How could the shadow of an eclipse save us from the moon? It made absolutely no sense. An eclipse blocks the moon from us, and we howl at the moon. Why would we need to be saved from the moon? Unless.... The voices were talking about the 2 rogues that had become prisoners. It did make a lot more sense. I still didn't know how they could save us from any danger, especially the moon, which is probably harmless. I walked out of my den, and into my Beta's den.
"I need to talk to you." I said, sitting down.
"About what?" He asked.
"About a dream I just had." I answered.

~~~After Storm Tells Shade About His Dream~~~

"Hmmm, it seems like it's a prophecy of some sort." Shade said.
"It does, but why does it seem like the 2 rogues are part of it?" I asked.
"Maybe they were destined to be with us?" Shade guessed.
"That could be right, but what about the part that says they'll save us from the moon?" I asked again.
"It's a possibility that it could have been someone who's name is 'Moon' and they might save us from this 'Moon'." (This is totally not a hint or anything.) Shade said.
"You're right. I might rank them as a Psi for now, and then see what rank they are worthy of." I said, standing up. "Thanks for your help, my loyal Beta." I continued, walking out of his den.
As I made my way to those rogue's den, I thought about what Shade had said. It was quite possible that someone could have the name "Moon" and we needed to be save from this wolf. I'm also pretty sure that the Prophecy was talking about Shadow and Eclipse. I arrived at their den, and walked in. They were currently chatting about their imprisonment, but stopped when they saw me walking in. I could tell that they were extremely nervous in my presence, for I was the leader, and I could do anything with them. (Those perverts out there, don't you guys dare.)
"I need to tell you 2, that I will be changing your rank to a Psi. I will be evaluating you to see what ranks you are worthy of. Don't try anything funny with your new rank, or I can make you Omegas, and you don't want that, unless you want to be teased, bullied and the ones to eat last." I said.
"Thank you." They both said, bowing their heads.
"No need to thank me, thank my dream, or else you would not have been promoted to a Psi." I said.
"Well then, uh, thank you dream!" Shadow said.
I deadpanned, and then turned around and walked away.

Shadow's POV

I can't believe that we were promoted to a Psi! I'm gonna show how what I can do, and hopefully I can get a good rank. Once Storm left, I was really curious about the dream he had informed us about. He had mentioned it, but didn't tell us what it was about. The rank I wanted to get was either a Hunter, or a Warrior. I knew I would do well in both of them, so it would be advantageous for me to get those ranks. Hopefully I get one of them.
