Before we begin, I'd like to give a shout out to kitty_the_kat for being awesome and such. The trainer/character/person/wolf in this chapter is her OC.

Shadow's POV

I drowsily opened my eyes and yawned. I felt so refreshed since we were actually able to rest for a few hours. I groaned when I remembered that there would be even more training today.
"Wake up!" I heard Shade call, walking into our den.

"Okay!" I said, jumping up from my sleeping position.

"More training today!" Shade said cheerily.

I deadpanned out how happy he seemed.

"Relax. Once you finish training, you two will be able to get your actual ranks!" Shade continued.
I sighed at this. What if we became Omegas? We would be so screwed. Nobody would like Omegas and would probably bully me like my classmates did. "No." I thought. "I'm a wolf now, and life is different. I will get a good rank."

"Follow on!" Shade laughed, walking out of our den.

Eclipse and I padded behind him, following Shade wherever he was going to lead us to. We stopped at a place with bushes and trees all around.
"Stay here and wait for your Scout trainer." Shade said, walking back towards his den.

"Okay." I sighed, bored out of my mind.

We waited for a really long time and our trainer didn't come at all.

"Do you think she forgot?" I asked Eclipse.

"No." A sudden voice was heard.

"What?" Eclipse said, confused.

"I'm right here." The voice sounded again.

"Where?" I asked.

"Here." The voice said, walking out of her cover. She was hiding behind a bush.

"How long were you there?" I asked.

"Ever since you two arrived. My name is Amethyst." She said.

"Nice to meet you. We are-" I said, getting cut off by Amethyst.

"No need to introduce you two. I already know your names." She chuckled.

"Okay then..." Eclipse said.

Amethyst had a grey pelt with some mud-brown brown staining the fur on her about, her front paws, the fur above her right eye, her left ear, and the tip of her tail.. She almost looked invisible behind any object since her pelt looked so natural. Her eyes were a light shade of sky blue, and if she closed them and stood a distance away, you probably couldn't even see her.

"Time to start your training." Amethyst stated.

Amethyst told us the duties of a Scout and what get had to do. She said that they sometimes needed go into enemy territory secretly and listen for any important news whether it be that pups were born, or that they were planning a battle. Sometimes Scouts had to search for a new camp that we could live in if we moved, or just run really far ahead and report to the Alpha of what dangers and things lie ahead. Amethyst taught us how to walk and run almost silently. She told us that we needed to keep our tails above the ground, and walk on the front of our feet. We also needed to look at the ground in front of us so that we won't step on dry leaves and such. Amethyst stated that being a scout was really dangerous, and you had to be cautious at all times, or face the risk of being captured by another pack, or even being killed by another pack. She also stated that you had to be fast in scouting and be in and out an enemy camp in just a few minutes. A really weird thing that she said was if there was a really big mission and we had to be in the camp for more than a few minutes, we needed to roll in the mud to hide our scent and blend into our surroundings, and then spy on opposing packs.

Eclipse's POV

We learned a lot of stuff from Amethyst and when we were leaving, I was a cruelly disappointed because it all seemed so interesting. I actually might like being this rank if I was chosen for it. Amethyst taught us a bunch of things that we could actually put to use even if we didn't get this rank. For example, we can use the technique to walk silently when we are stalking prey. When we finished our training, we left the training area to get some water. I lapped the refreshing river water and my parched throat felt better. Shadow and I walked back to our den, ready for more training. Hopefully it wouldn't be too tiring, but I knew that it would be, or else the evaluation would be too easy.

"What do you think you'll get as your rank?" Shadow asked.

"I don't know, we need to finish our training, then we will know." I replied, sitting down in our den. We needed to get as much rest as we could in the limited time we had in-between training, because if we didn't we could get so tired that we would faint. It was completely possible, so I didn't want to face the risks of fainting in front of everyone, embarrassing myself.
"I hope that Shade doesn't come for a few more minutes." I said, laying down on my stomach.

"Yeah, I do to." Shadow replied.

As if right on cue, Shade walked in.

"Time for more training!" He said.

"WHYYYYY!" Shadow cried, standing up and following Shade.

I giggled. "Really Shadow? Really? You're making a racket, so be quiet!"

Shadow didn't respond as we followed Shade. We'd better brace for sore muscles.

Yay! Another chapter! I know you guys want an update in Enderlox's Love, but I'm kinda having a writer's block, so it's hard for me to think of ideas. Hopefully I can update both books again really soon. Nothing else to say, so BAI!!!!!!
