Chp. 3

Mark looked at the male on the floor. He was currently looking down at the floor again.

Why is he dangerous? He thought He hasn't tried attacking us.

"Mark!" He heard Felix call. "Wade's nearly made breakfast"

"Cool. I'll be through soon" Mark replied.

Mark took another glance at the male before heading to the kitchen.

He couldn't of slept comfortably last night...Sitting like that Mark thought.

"Your thinking about him..." A male said from behind Mark, tearing him from his thoughts.

"..Bob...I..Its just, he doesn't seem dangerous to me...But non of us know him...Why is he down here?" Mark muttered.

"How is he important?" Bob added.

"Exactly..." Mark said. "Have you picked anything up?"

"He's just as confused as we are. He also has a distaste for your uncle" Bob spoke, Mark gave a chuckle. "Yet...Its odd"

"What is?"

"Something's blocking his mind...It's hard for me to get in..." Bob told him

"You think he has powers too?" Mark asked.

"No idea"

The two headed into the kitchen where plates of food were layed out.

They all had a plate each and took it over to the dinning room where they all ate.

Sean felt so uncomfortable. His neck and back were in pain from sleeping werid. He kept getting stared at by the other males.

"Mark?" Sean looked up and saw the raven haired male holding a plate of food. The others behind him, watching

Is he teasing me? Sean thought as he looked at the male

"Are you hungry?" Mark asked him.

"W..What?" Sean Questioned in shock.

"I brought through some food. I thought you'd be hungry" Mark spoke as he began walking over.

Sean tensed up as Mark walked over. The youngest male behind Mark was also tense

"Mark! The Director said that-" Mark looked back at the male before sitting by Sean.

"I don't see a problem with you" Mark spoke as he burst one of the wrist cuffs off.

"Here" Mark smiled, giving Sean the plate before breaking the other cuff.

"How did you-"

"Mark has super strength" One of the other Males said. Sean had heard Mark call him Bob earlier.

"Bob! He can't-"

"Ethan. I know you're anxious but i seriously don't think he's dangerous" Bob spoke to the younger male.

"Dangerous?" Sean mumbled. What had the director told them? He instinctively reached for the back of his neck.

"That's what we were told.." Mark spoke

"So...You're the guys that have superpowers?" Sean questioned.

"Yeah. That's us. That's why were down here." Another male said as Sean began eatting.

"Why are you down here?" Mark question.

"I...I don't know...I've been locked up all my life...Then they bring me down here" Sean spoke.

"What did you do?" The last male asked.

"I don't know. They never explained...And everytime i ask....they.." Sean replied as he reached for his neck. Mark looked at it.

"Your chipped...Aren't you?" Mark asked him. Sean stayed quiet.

"How long has it been like this?" Mark asked.

"Since i was a kid...I have a feeling the took me from my family. Why? I don't know. I don't remember anything before I was taken in to the room I was locked in...Everytime I ask.." Sean told them. "I don't know why I'm down here but i promise you...I don't want to hurt anyone.."

Sean put his now empty plate to the side as Mark put out his hand for him to shake.

"I'm Mark" He said.

"Sean" Sean took Mark's hand and shook it.

Bob smiled. "And I'm Bob. This is Ethan, Wade and Felix"

Sean gave a smile. "Good to meet you".

He looked at the ankle chains. Mark also glanced at them.

"Listen, I trust you but I'm still a little wary. I'll let you go but..." Mark spoke.

"I get it...It's fine" Sean replied.

"Also. Someone will come check...Meaning we'll have to pretend that your still locked up...Right?" Wade asked.

"That's true...We'll figure something out" Mark looked at Sean.

He then grabbed the ankle cuffs and broke them off too.

The room was silent for a while before Mark smiled at Sean.

"You wanna play some games?"
