Chp. 18

"Sean!" A small voice cried. A young boy turned and saw a tiny green creature speeding towards him.

The young boy caught them and smiled "Hey, Sam!"

The young boy's tail began swinging at the sight of his small eyeball friend

"Ma asked me to look for you!" The little eye spoke

"Why? What's wrong?" The boy asked now slightly worried. He was known for getting his mother figure annoyed with him

"No idea. Said she wanted to show you something" Sam told him. Sean's little tail froze.

"Sam...What if she found out about that?!" He grew red in the face as the Eye froze up.

"Oh...Sean, she'll be mad..."  Sam spoke

"Sean" Another voice spoke. They both jumped and turned to a bigger eye.

"It was Sean's idea!"

"It was Sam's idea!"

They both yelled, pointing at eachother

The bigger eye looked confused before giving a sigh. "We'll discuss whatever was who's idea later. Sean, I want you to follow me"

The boy looked at his eye friend before following the bigger eye to a cave inside a cliff side.

"Ma...What's wrong?" Sean asked her.

His question was answered at the sight of a painting on the cave wall of a man with a tail and ears a lot like his. He had eyes painted around him as well.

Other eyes floated around the wall, looking at it cautiously.

"Your majesty!" Another eye yelled in surprise and floated over to Sean. "Please do you know who this is?"

Sean looked at the eye before looking at the painting. "Who drew it?" He asked.

"No one did, Sean. It just appeared. My guess is that it's a prophecy. An image from the future" Ma told him.

"This wall can tell the future?!" Sam said in excitement from Sean's arms.

"We aren't sure, Sam" Ma replied. "Sean. We were wondering if you could sense anything from it"

Sean let Sam go and walked towards the wall and gently placed his hand on painting.

With flashes, he saw different images. A room where he felt locked away in. A ship with People he didn't recognize. His home. Then him in a mirror, it wasn't exactly him though. It was the man in the painting. It was him in the future

Sean stepped away from the painting and looked at Ma.

"Its me! Well...Future me.." Sean smiled.

"So it means no harm?" an eye asked. Sean shook his head.

"It's just a picture of me!" Sean smiled.

The eyes looked relieved before flying off.

"You look cool" Sam said, looking at the painting as Ma turned to look at a scared eye

"I told you I'd get a beard" Sean smirked.

"Sean. Sam" Ma spoke in a serious voice. "Go hide."

"Why?" Sean asked.

"Something has found the gate. It's trying to break in"

Sean opened his eyes to find the ceiling of his room on Toast's ship. It was made of a thick glass so he could see the outside, right now they past a cluster of stars with a purple colour.

Another memory.

Those creatures...Those eyes...Seemed like a family...And he was apart of that family

But...How did he end up getting taken by the director..
