Chp. 21

Sean spend his time trying to talk to Sam but he couldn't. Sam had told him to look out for a green planet with a blue and red fog.

The other's seemed wary for many reasons. A fog around a planet usually meant poison, Sean may be able to get through thanks to his resistance to poison but everyone else...

Then they questioned if it was really Sam...Sean knew it was..

Sean sat behind Toast and Felix as the both piloted the crafted. He watched them both talk things out as he ate a tub of blue jelly.

"What is this again?" He asked Sykkuno, who sat next to him.

"Oh! I made you jelly from those melons you had before! We normally use them for our darts but i used what was left over to make you jelly" Sykkuno smiled.

"Oh. It's good!" Sean smiled. "I feel bad for not sharing though..."

"Yeah but if we were to eat it we'd die..." Toast said from upfront.

Sean looked down awkwardly. He didn't entirely know how he was resistant to posion. He just was.

"Ok" A voice spoke. They all looked and saw Corpse. "I have the pods all set up. We can go in pairs to look for Jack's planet and he'll stay here"

Sean looked at him slight confused. "Why?" He asked. "Why can't i go?"

"It's best if you stay here" Toast told him. "If you can get back in contact with your friend, you can alert all off the pods at once and tell us where they are"

Sean nodded in understanding.

They all headed to the pods and got in teams. Mariza and Felix. Toast and Rae. Corpse and Sykkuno. Ethan and Eveline.

Sean waved them off as they all took off. Eveline turned to Sean. He felt his face heat up a little.

"What?" He asked her with a laugh.

"Nothing. Bye!" She laughed too and climbed in the pod.

"Good luck" He smiled.

Sean then walked back to the deck and sat on the driver seat. He was alone but he knew it wouldn't be for long.

Eveline chuckled as she sat down by Ethan, Who smiled at her.

"What was that about?" He chuckled.

"Nothing!" Eveline laughed back.

Ethan chuckled before his smile faded. "Can i ask something?"

Eveline nodded and looked at him.

"Why is Sean special? What is he?" He asked.

Eveline sighed. "No one actually knows. He's a myth. A part of folklore. Its honestly amazing that I'm meeting him. People have said he's royalty. Some say he's a deity. A god. Others have said he was just a kid who gained powers"

"What's the story then?"

Fuck yeah! I figured it out!

The two jumped, hearing Sean's voice from the intercom.

"Sean?" Ethan asked.

Hey, Ethan!

"Sean! Hi!" Eveline smiled.

Hi!!

"Have you heard anything from your friend yet?" Ethan asked.

No, not yet. Im getting worried. I hope their not hurt.

"They'll be fine, Sean. Those creatures have a safe space they live. Nothing but you or them can pass through the gate to it" Eveline told him.

Wait. How do you know this?

"I do because i have to. What's happening with everyone else?" Eveline asked.

No answer.

"Sean?"

Connection lost. Orgin ship not found.

"Sean?!"

"Shit" Eveline yelled as she tried to get Sean back. "Either we've lost range or...fuck no.."

"What?! What's happened?!" Ethan panicked.

"Or the ships been destroyed..." Eveline mumbled. Ethan looked at her shocked and scared.

"Sean!!" Ethan yelled.

"Try get in contact with the others" Eveline told him.

Hello?

"Toast?" Eveline questioned.

Eveline! Ethan!

"Rae!" Ethan smiled.

We've lost contact with Sean. What about you?

"We have too" Eveline said.

Fuck. We all have..

"What?!" Ethan yelled. "We need to turn back!"

Eveline's hand lit up a purple colour and a small cat like shape ghostly left the ship.

"What was that?!" Ethan gasped.

"My cat. BB. He can help Sean" She told him.

"How?" Ethan asked.

"BB can summon portals to places he's been before. He's a mysterious cat but he's apparently been to the planet were looking for" She told him. "I couldn't summon him before because he can only transport one person and i don't think Sean would be very happy with me sending him alone"

"That's so cool" Ethan muttered.

"We need to get to him"

It all happened so quickly. He was talking to them and then an explosion.

Now...He felt cold and dizzy but he was alive.

Sean floated in the void of space yet...He was still breathing...

How am i still alive?

"Anythin' good?" A thick pirate like voice said.

"Nah. Trash. Take the engine. Maybe we can sell it" Another said.

"And him? What 'bout him?" Another spoke.

"If he's somehow still alive, he'll be dead soon anyway...Leave 'em"

He heard cheering and then a bang of an engine before all was quiet.

Sean managed to open his eyes and looked around. Shouldn't he be dead? He wasn't supposed to be able to breath out here.

He felt the pain and cold as blood trickle down his face. He couldn't really move. If he wasn't dying to the lack of oxygen, he'll die to the cold or pain.

Meow

Sean looked up and saw a big fluffy face of a feline.

He screamed a little moving up as he floated.

"Dont eat me!!" He yelled. A green bubble like force field appearing, cause Sean to scream in surprise

"AHHH!!....Ow..." He mumbled and helt his arm.

Meow

Sean watched as the giant cat nudged the bubble, making it roll a bit and causing him to fall over and his tail flopped over his head.

He shook it off and stood up looking at the cat, who looked like he was walking on something even though there was nothing there. The cat looked at him and titled its head.

The bubble vanished, causing Sean to float again but this time its like he flew on the spot, like he was in control.

The cat walked up to him and gently picked him up like how one would to a kitten and placed him on its back.

Sean stroked its fluffy fur as he spoke. "Your BB, aren't you? Eveline told me about you. Did she send you to help?"

Meow

Sean smiled as he began to lose consciousness. "Thank you..."
