Seán grumbley woke up in his small room. He helt his head and realised he had fallen asleep on his couch
Good morning Sean!
Sean looked up at the ceiling and responded to the robotic motherly voice.
"Mornin' Sally" He mumbled as he rubbed his eyes.
It is the 18th of July, 2130. The time is 10:00am. Would you like me to make you a coffee?
"I'll do it...Its fine..." Sean stood up and gave a stretch.
Would you like the TV on?
"I guess.." Sean mumbled as he walked to the back of the room where a small kitchen was and began making himself a coffee as a large screen opposite his couch turned on.
The news was on. Something about them shooting down a enemy ship and hunting through it.
Sean looked up at the screen as he walked over and sat on his couch and drank his coffee.
"What's happening today then, anything interesting for once?" Sean asked the AI
Nothing planned! But that's great! Means you get to stay here today!
"Oh...Yay.." Sean mumbled. This was basically his life.
Basically, he wasn't aloud out outside. He wasn't sure why. Its like he had been on house arrest his entire life.
He'd only be aloud out if someone high authority allowed him or going next door for the small fitness gym.
Sean gave a sigh as he looked at the screen again. He froze up as he saw something on it.
On the battle ship was something green, he couldn't fully make out the shape but the gave him a sense of familiarity.
"What is.." He mumbled as he looked at it.
Sean didn't realise the small breeze picking up around him. His hair turning a slight green.
"Sally! Pause it!" Sean yelled pointing at the screen
I'm afraid i can't do that, Sean.
"Why not?! You'd pause it if it was anything else! Now that i feel that it's familiar, you're not doing it?! Why?! Is it so bad for me to learn about my past?!" Sean yelled.
Your stepping out of line again, Sean..
Sean then felt himself be electrocuted by something in his neck. He screamed and fell onto the floor. His hair changing back to brown and the wind vanishing
That was another thing. He was brought here as a kid and whenever he asks about his past he'd be electrocuted.
He didn't know what they were keeping from him but he did know he wouldn't find out any time soon
Sean lay there on the ground, his eyes tearing up with pain.
Come on, Sean. You know what happens. Don't cry.
"J...Just change the channel..." Sean spoke, whipping his eyes. He picked up his now in half mug and went to the small kitchen and placed it in the sink.
"It fucking hurts...Why do i have this?" Sean mumbled reaching to the circular chip implanted in his neck.
Im afraid that's private information, Sean.
"That's always what it is....Can't even know anything about me..." Sean muttered to himself
Good news, Sean! I just received word you'll be visited by the director today! Best get ready!
