Episode 32 - Tell me why?

Y/n's PoV

Y/n: "Jungkook..."
I weakly called his name as I followed behind him out of the room.
Y/n: "Jungkook please listen to me."
I pleaded a bit louder when he was about to step off the stairs.
This time he stopped and turned around. His fierce glare made me freeze.
Y/n: "Don't do this."
I quietly begged standing still.
He walked back and clasped my wrist.
Jk: "Then come and tell me Why I shouldn't."
He said glaring into my eyes and dragging me with him. I stumbled down the stairs behind him.

My father anxiously walking back and forth down the hall stopped after seeing us. He sighed in relied with a faint smile and looked at Jungkook. His smile faded. His face grew stern after seeing Jungkook's firm grip around my wrist and the way he pulled me with him.

As we reached closer to him, Jungkook pulled me even stronger to the front, pushed me to stand beside him. Almost flying into him after losing my balance, I whimpered in as he caught me from falling.
Yoo: "y/n!"
His arms wrapped around me protectively and his punitive eyes fell on Jungkook.
Yoo: "Stop it Jungkook."
He said and Jungkook quickly pressed the gun nozzle on his forehead. Horrified, I gasped looking at him, almost forgetting to breath.
Jk: "Stay still Mr Gong."
He warned while his eyes study the shock on my face.
Jk: "He knew you were in danger y/n. He has something to do with whoever hired Red Lotus. He was probably a part of it."
He said while he kept the gun pressed firmly. My body was numb and anything he said failed to enter my head as I stared at him.
Y/n: "Don't hurt him."
I stuttered with fear.

Mr Jeon: "Jungkook!"
Mr Jeon's stern voice echoed through hallway as he shouted stood on top of the stairs.
Mr Jeon: "Jungkook what the hell are you doing?!"
He growled angrily.
Jk: "Stay where you are dad. This is between us now."
He said without breaking his glare on me making Mr Jeon stop halfway down the stairs.
Jk: "Tell me why I shouldn't hurt him."
Y/n: "Because he wouldn't do anything to hurt me."
I mumbled.
Jk: "Really? You sound so sure. How?"
He tilted his head while narrowing his eyes.
Almost paralysed by shock, my tongue lost its ability to speak.
Jk: "Tell me why."
He closed in towards my face gripping my arm.
He knew the truth. He was punishing me for not telling him, for hiding it from him, demanding for the secret to be revealed through my own mouth.

Y/n: "Because, he is...he's..."
My whimpers stopped me from speaking and before I compose myself he lost his patience.

Jk: "Tell me!"
He yelled followed by a loud bang as his forefinger pulled the trigger without the tiniest bit of hesitation. The walls around us shuddered for a second and my scream followed after it echoing through the hallway.
Y/n: "Appaaa!"
I screamed jolting in shock of the sound, hugging him tightly, burying my face into my father's chest.

Author's PoV

Y/n: "Because he's my Appa..."
She sobbed holding onto him with her eyes shut tightly in total dismay.
Mr Jeon slowly recovered from the sudden shock of the sound and unravelled from his hunched position.
Mr Jeon: "Appa?!"
He exclaimed quietly to himself as confusion took over.
Jungkook calmly lowered his gun, satisfied with the outcome the commotion he had caused.
Jk: "Sorry Mr Gong..."
He apologised to Yoo, who was stood almost deafened by the loud bang of the gun when it's bullet pierced through the front door frame. He exhaled pressing a kiss on y/n's head.
Yoo: "It's ok sweetheart. I'm ok."
He shook her gently to make her realise he wasn't hurt.

Composing himself quickly and realising the dangerous game of his son, Mr Jeon dashed down the stairs.
Mr Jeon: "Give me that bloody gun."
He muttered snatching it away from Jungkook after dragging him back a little.
Mr Jeon: "You and your stupid little games. Mr Hak!"
He groused angrily slapping Jungkook's shoulder, then yelled for Mr. Hak, who showed up at the speed of light and bowed.
Mr Jeon: "Take this away and lock it in the safe. You are not giving it to him without my permission."
He ordered clicking the the safety lock before handing it to Mr Hak.
Mr Hak: "Yes sir."
He nodded at once and walked away with it.
