Episode 3 The Revelations

Lisa and I walked out of the class room sipping on our juice cartons.
Y/n: "He's very intimidating, you know. He tried to touch my cheeks."
Lisa: "Oooooh! I think he likes youuuuu..."
she nudged my shoulders with hers as she grinned.
Y/n: "Shush! He doesn't seem to be scared of anyone. He nearly punched that guy to death, and comes in asking for first aid for a fricking small cut on his knuckle. And guess what? He's got my ring."
I blabbered, not being able to get over his savage nature.
Lisa: "He has it? You should have asked him to give it back."
Y/n: "And get punched...No., thank you. I hate him."
I scoffed.
Lisa: "You don't like him but You keep talking about him all day. Hmmmm...."
Y/n: "Tut! Don't be silly...He scares me, that's all."
Lisa: "Well...Good girls like bad boys..."
Y/n: "Stop it."
I stopped her before she went on any further.
Y/n: "Well, I'm gonna go around the shops to see if they got any jobs. I see you tomorrow."
Lisa: "Ok...byeee.."
We both waved to each other and I walked towards the shops.

I dragged myself inside the house, exhausted and hopeless. My feet were aching from all the walking, and I couldn't carry my bag anymore. I dropped it on the floor and dragged it into the lounge.
Aunt Mija and Hana were dressed and was waiting on the sofa. I quickly picked up my bag and held it in front of me as I walked passed them to my room.

Aunt: "Where have you been all this time?"
She questioned strictly, keeping her legs crossed.
I turned to face her...
Y/n: "I just went to look for a job after the class."
I mumbled softly.
Aunt: "well, did you find any?"
She glared at me for an answer.
I shook my head side to side couple of times.
Aunt: "There's a surprise! You have been saying this for the past few months. You just go loitering around, then come back here saying you didn't find a job. So you can just stay here sucking on our blood like a parasite!"
Her words pierced through me like spears, I stood still like a sinner taking them all in.

Hana: "Mum, can we just go, stop wasting your time on her. You know she's always like this. I think the taxi is here."
She got up with her clutch and pulled on aunty's hand.
Aunt: "Urgh! I told your father right at the beginning. This wasn't a good idea, but he never listened. Now we are stuck with her."
She muttered to Hana as she got up adjusting her dress and left with her.
I couldn't move. Sometimes, my mind wondered what's worse, poisons words or a red hot knife through my heart...
My tears fell out in despair...
I forced my feet to move and slowly shut the door after I went in.

I got changed into my pyjamas and plonked on the bed after all the cleaning and tidying.
His face and his memories kept digging my brain. I couldn't seem to get him out of my head.
"Aaahhh...Why am I being like this?'"
I moaned to myself covering my face. I rolled and lay on my stomach burying my face on the pillow, trying to make everything around me dark. But no. He wouldn't disappear...
I turned again and looking up trying to force myself to sleep, so he would get out of my head.
Slowly I dozed off...
"Hey....you ok?"
His soft voice echoed inside my head as his glowing face appeared in the darkness of my closed eyes.
"Haaah..."
I jolted half asleep and opened my eyes, only to realize it was an imaginary shadow of him.
"Oh god! Now my head's playing with me...urgh..."
I grunted in frustration and plonked my face on the pillow.

Next morning...

Y/n's PoV

I was in the kitchen cleaning the messy worktop. It was time for me to get ready, and to close the kitchen door and window. But Poppy hadn't picked up her food yet. So I waited a little longer....

Couple more mins later, I heard her wings flap and turned to the window. She made a slippery landing on the tiled windowsill and quickly composed her self and stood majestically. Giggling to myself, I finished cleaning the worktop and moved towards the sink to wash my hands.
Happily, she was eating the strawberries on the small bowl, while glancing at me now and then.
