Episode 33 - Where were you?

Author's PoV

Yoo peaked his head out of the driver's seat window and studied the main entrance. There was no sign of Mr Jeon, just Mr Hak discussing something with a fellow guard.
"Hmmm..."
He hummed with suspicion and got off to stretch his legs, while his brain remained on high alert. Mr Hak saw him and bowed after a smile to which Yoo responded. He tilted his head towards the doorway and flicked his eyebrows curiously. Mr Hak knew what that meant and leaned back to check inside. He gave him a thumbs up. They had their own method of communication whenever they couldn't talk about their boss loudly.
Yoo squinted his eyes suspiciously. Surely Mr Jeon must still be enraged with him for what he's done and the madness would trigger again as soon as he sees him again, he thought.
While he pondered Mr Jeon's voice reched his ears as they all walk out, panicking like a mouse about to be caught by a starved cat, Yoo jostled himself into the car. Of course, the panic doesn't help with any situation, so his limbs lose coordination and he bumped himself in various parts of his body during the process.
"Ahhhh..."
He whined holding his knee and locked the door after seeing Mr Jeon approach the car.

Following the normal patterns of his routine, Mr Jeon attempted to open the passenger door and the locked door took him by surprise.

Mr Jeon: "Uh! Are you serious?"
He leaned down to the passenger seat window and glared at Yoo who was sat on the driver's seat.
Yoo: "You are going with Jungkook, I'm taking y/n to college."
He shouted so Mr Jeon could hear, too afraid to lower the window. Mr Jeon tutted pursing his lips.
Mr Jeon: "Oh come on! You're pathetic!"
He said without raising his voice, reluctant to waste his morning energy on the feeble play of his PA. Yoo grinned sheepishly after muttering something under his breath.

Jk: "Come on dad! you are coming with me."
He announced after tapping his father's shoulder, walking past him towards his Bugatti. Although Mr Jeon bought the classic gloss black beast for his son, he himself had no allure towards it. In fact, he couldn't understand why one would love such weird looking car but of course fulfilling his son's wishes gave him a contentment nothing else did.
Mr Jeon: "Urghh..."
With a despising sigh he dragged himself towards it, while glaring at it as it roared with life.
Y/n giggled watching Mr Jeon's suffering and waved to Jungkook who was leaning forward to look through the window. The savage bunny grin curved across his face, the sort of grin he'd hold when he's about to do something ridiculously mischievous.
Y/n: "Go slow."
She mouthed while curling her fingers around the door handle of Yoo's Mercedes.
Her glance switched to the door and Jungkook reversed with the loudest roar making her flinch for a moment. She huffed knowing the advise she whispered a few seconds was gone with the wind.
Y/n: "Appa..."
Before she asked, Yoo unlocked the doors. After getting into the driver's seat and buckling the seat belt, she turned to him and smiled.
Yoo: "Comfortable?"
He said slowly reversing towards the gate. She nodded without losing her smile.

Y/n's PoV

Y/n: "I thought you'd join us for breakfast."
I commented while looking over my shoulder to make sure nothing was in our way as we reversed. It was kind of a habit I've developed since Jungkook started to drop me at college. He never checks my side, so I always did. Now I realised why, Of course my father taught him how to drive. I suppressed my chuckle and looked at him.

Yoo: "Nah, I'll get something at the office cafe."
He replied, while scrolling on the dashboard screen which had his phone connected via Bluetooth. I nodded watching him switch glances between the road and the screen.
Y/n: "You shouldn't do this while you drive."
I cautioned and he gave me a smile tapping on the screen and dialling a name. "Anna", it said. I watched the screen while it rang. 

Both of his hands were on the steering wheel now, I let out a sigh of relief. But, the gentle sweet female voice sounding shortly after few rings made me tense up again.
