Chapter thirty

I woke up , ririka had stayed the night and was curled up still asleep in the bed next to me.i tapped her shoulder and she sleepily opened her eyes and got up.

-time skip to school-

I shakily walked in the gates with ririka , she held my hand and kept her mask off. She said if i came into the student council office she would keep her mask off. We walked into the scool and arrived at the doors. I took a breath and pushed it open. Ofcourse. Everyone was there. I got a surprised look from yumemi , midari just , kinda stared. Runa didnt look , she had headphones on and was looking at the switch. She hadnt noticed. Kirari swiftly walked up to us and ririka whispered something into her ear.

Kirari looked at me , she suddenly changed from calm to angry.

" can everyone excuse me for a moment . we may have to start a little late. Midari and ririka , follow me if you will." kirari grabbed my hand ruffly and pulled my into the office followed by a concerned ririka and a annoyed midari.

" did we not come to a agreement .?" kirari shot me a glare. Midari suddenly understood and tutted a bit.

" kirari..- now might not be the right time-" ririka tried to protest , she hadnt been able to tell kirari what had happened only that she had done it.

"What ririka!?" kirari turned on her , she was clearly angry - but also- upset?

"I didn't tell you- " she grabbed kirari by her arm and walked over to the corner of the room and they started quietly talking.

Midari walked over to me with a blank face. "Cmon kid... this cant be good for you." she suddenly tilted my chin up to her with her hand. She tilted my face from side to side and watched as a tear trickled down my face. She shook her head smiling and whipped my tear with her thumb.

" keep your head up kid , hey?" she let go as ririka and kirari walked back over . kirari looked really guilty .

" im so sorry- i didnt know-" i cut her off. " its fine. Dont worry about it." i shook my head a bit , whipped my eyes and walked out the room. Instead of sitting in my normal seet i took the spare one next to yumemi.

"Hey y/n! Are you crying-?" she looked at my concerned.

" im fine!~" i giggled , making her look reassured.

" how come your not sat with runa , and i thought she would be happier that you are here?"

" i dont think shes noticed me yet.. Plus we had a small disagreement." i held the back of my neck awkwardly.

" ok." i was saved by kirari starting the meeting. She looked at me with a sorry look then put her poker face back on. " runa ...RUNA!" she snapped at runa who still had her headphones on.

Runa slipped them off. " sorry presid-" she cut off as she saw me. She just started then looked at the president. She face was bright red , but not blush , maybe the will not to cry.

I didnt pay attention to the meeting , i was trying my best not to cry. As soon as the meeting was over i jumped up and walked over to ririka. She could tell i was close to crying as she nodded at kirari and we walked swiftly into kiraris office and shut the door.
