killua's P.O.V.

'So this is the place huh?'

I had just arrived at the hunter exam, and a green thing walked up to me.

"Here is your badge number 99.  Wear this on your shirt at all times!" It said before it walked away

I walked in further and took a good look around the underground building. It was clear that the people here were very tense, and seemed on edge.  Not many people caught my attention though.  Most of them seemed weak.

I walked around for a while before a boy with purple hair caught my attention.  He was sitting on a wall playing on his phone, and the sounds coming from his game made people stare.  I noticed water leaking from the pipes making a puddle besides him.

'He looks about my age.' I thought before walking over to him

I walked over, and stood infront of him.

"whats your name?" I asked looking down at him

"Hm me?" He asked surprised

"Ya"

"My name is Kenji nce to meet you" He said smiling

He then patted the seat next to him for me to sit down.  I sat down on the other side making sure not to sit in the water.

"So you never said you name? "

"My name is killua."

"It's a nice name" Kenji said

"How old are you?" I asked

"I'm 12 how old are you?" He said

"I'm 12 as well"

"Really you look like you're 10" He said smirking

"No I am 12 same age as you!  If anything you look younger than me!"

"Really?  Thanks" He said smiling

"Wasn't a compliment" I mumbled

"Sure it wasn't"

I looked forward ignoring his previous comment. "Why did you take the hunter exam?"

"I am looking for someone I just don't know who though.  I need certain things to get information" Kenji said looking over to me

"You don't know who it is?"

"No, but I will find them"

"Why?"

"Maybe another time" Kenji said smiling "Why did you take the hunter exam?"

"I was bored, and I heard it was a challenge"

"Oh really?  Well I'm glad~, but I need to go scope out the other opponents not just you." He said getting up

"Ya okay" I said getting up as well

"Bye~" He said lightly smiling

I didn't say anything back.

'Something is about him is off, but he sure is interesting.  He seems really strong too...maybe I could find more out about him later.  We barely got a chance to talk before he got up and left...'

Kenji P.O.V.

'Killua seems interesting I will give him that.  Although we didn't talk much I made some assumptions about him.  1. He came from a rich family.  2. He is strong and finally 3. He was trained by a skilled person.  He could come in handy'
