*Kirishima's POV*
That Friday afternoon Eijiro left school to head home for the weekend. He hadn't been home to see his grandma since she returned to the country, so he needed to make time this weekend for it. He hadn't seen her in almost a year because of her travels. Walking through the front door he could hear his family inside going about their day. Peeking his head into the kitchen he could see his mom and grandma working on something. He wasn't sure what, but it sure did smell good.
"Making something for me? You shouldn't have." A grin spreading across his face as they both looked up at him.
"Eijiro!" His grandma exclaimed setting down what she was working on, walking over to him, her hands beckoning him into a hug. "It's been so long dear. You sure look more like a man now" she leaned back to get a better look at him. He only smiled and shook his head at her flattery.
"Is it just you dear?" His mother looked up, while still mixing her ingredients in a bowl. "No Bakugou this time? You know he's always welcome."
"I was planning on staying the whole weekend with you guys, so I figured it'd be better. So, he wasn't stuck here all weekend." He moved into the kitchen getting down a glass for some water.
"And I was so looking forward to meeting him," his grandma feigned disappointment as she went back to her spot in the kitchen.
His eyes narrowed in suspicion, what was going on here. "Am I not enough for you two?" He kept his voice light, trying to figure out what they were up to.
His grandma laughed, "I just wanted to see what he was like, after that conversation with your sister last week. Speaking of your sister, we need to talk about that." She said it like she already knew the problem between you two.
He should have expected that, grandma gets information out of everyone, so why wouldn't she have gotten his sister to spill everything.
Leaning back against the counter he set his glass down, crossing his arms, "What's there to talk about? You've obviously already talked to her about it. What more do you need to know?"
"Eijiro don't get so defensive. Tell me your side of the story. I just want you two to make up already. That's what this is about." His grandma once again set down what she was doing to give him her full attention.
He looked at her a moment, trying to see if she had any ulterior motives, before he sighed, "It's stupid grandma."
"If its so stupid why are you two still fighting?" she questioned, she looked this close to walking over to him and smacking him on the back of the head.
She had a point, he thought, contemplating what he wanted to tell her. "Alright, it's just I told her not to try anything with my friend. And she agreed and if she just would have come forward and said something, I may not have been happy about it, but I would have gotten over it. She had so many chances to just tell me, but she kept it from me and lied to me about it. The only reason I even found out was because I found them making out in her room."
"They what?" His grandmas head shot up at what he said. Her eyes squinted, pursing her lips, "She left out some juicy details then." She paused taking in what Eijiro had to say, "Dear, I don't want you to feel like your feelings aren't valid, because they are. But I think you need to tell her about this. Let her know and have a real discussion."
He sighed, he knew she was right, she always was. "I'll talk to her when I see her next," he spoke half-heartedly.
"Great! She should be home tonight after her night out with Hoshi," his mom smiled at him.
