Chapter 11

I awoke to Peter stroking my hair gently, his warm brown eyes met my squinted green ones.
He smiled and kissed the top of my head before climbing out of bed and heading towards the bathroom. Slowly, sitting up i grabbed my phone. 8:47am.
Grabbing my hoodie and headphones, i climbed out of bed as quietly as i could and headed for the door. I didn't really want to face Peter right now, especially not when i'm not in my right of mind.
I walked quietly down the hall towards the front door. 5 feet, 4, 3, 2, my hand was on the doorknob.
"Ella?" Peter's voice sent shivers up and down my spine as i slowly turned around to face him.
His wet hair dripped down onto the carpet and on his shirt.
"What are you doing?" His voiced snapped me back into reality.
I didn't want to talk to him right now.
"Is something wrong?"
"You know what Pete, yeah somethings wrong. You lied to me." I found my voice.
"Ella.." he started walking towards me and i backed away until i was pressed against the door. His abilities scared me a little. I didn't know what he'd be capable of doing if i made him angry and he snapped.
He stopped a foot away from me, too close. God i can't believe i let him kiss me!
He must have seen the look of horror in my eyes because his face looked pained. "Ella please. At least let me explain myself."
"You knew! You knew what a big freak i was and you still tried to hang out with me! Why? It was Tony wasn't it? How much is he paying you hmm? Your pockets feeling heavy from all his loose fucking change?! All his loose fucking change to watch over me and make sure i don't try to kill myself again!?"
My face was red from anger and i could feel the tears starting to fight my eyes for dominance, i wouldn't let them win, not this time.
I turned around to open the door and storm out only to find myself flung back around and shoved roughly again the door.
"Are you serious Hela!? Is that the only reason you think i want to be with you? To get some dumb approval from Mr. Stark? Is that it!?"
His anger scared me, if he snapped, what would he do? What could he do?
I said nothing, his strong arms pinned me to the door by my shoulders. Slowly, his face softened and his hands moved from my shoulders to either side of my waist.
He held me firmly, not letting me go, not hurting me either though. He brought me into a gentle hug and i felt his tears on the top of my head.
"Please don't be scared of me Ella." He whispered softly.
"Please please please don't be scared of me."
My own arms found their way to him and i hugged him tightly, not letting go.
"I will never hurt you, please." He whispered even softer, like he thought his voice could harm me in some way.
"I'm not... I promise." I lied.

Just so you know i did delete a bunch of the starting chapters just because they were mainly revolved around what the book used to be about but isn't anymore. So just if any of you are lost or confused that's what happened.
