Chapter 9

Hope Pov

After saving both Lizzie and Josie we went back to the school and they were both still very scared I can tell that both Dr. Saltzman and Caroline are worried about them, once we arrived back to school Dr. Saltzman asked me if I can take Lizzie and Josie back to their room

"sure Dr. Saltzman I'll make sure their fine" I said to him as I walk away from him and following the girls, when we arrived at their room, it was a mess so I offered to help clean the mess up

"Are you guys ok?" I asked them

"we're fine Hope you can leave we'll call you when we need you" Lizzie tell me and with that I left to my room and decided to get cleaned up and when I finished taking a shower aunt Freya called me and said that Dr. Saltzman and Caroline wanted to talk to me so I went to Dr. Saltzman's office and knocked and he said for me to come in

"Hey Dr. Saltzman Caroline you wanted to see me" I said and they smiled at me

"we just wanted to say thank you for saving the girls" He said to me 

"and we wanted to tell you that if anything happens to girls we can count on you to save them right" Caroline tells me

"yes you can count on me to keep the girls safe" I said to them and they simply just nodded and I left the office when I heard screaming and I recognized it, it's Josie. When I heard the screaming I ran to the twins room

"I heard screaming what's wrong?" I asked 

"Josie is having a nightmare and she won't wake up" Lizzie said as she holds Josie and trying to wake her up, I walked up to her and try to wake Josie up

"Jo wake up your having a nightmare" I try to wake her up but she's still not waking up

"JOSIE WAKE UP!" I yelled not to loud while I shake her to wake her up and she finally wakes up

"Hope" she says with tears coming down her cheeks

"hey your ok Jo I got you" I tell her and she hugs me tightly

"we heard screaming is everything ok" Caroline and Dr. Saltzman barged into the room

"I'll explain everything outside stay with Josie while I explain to them" Lizzie says I nodded then she left the room to talk to her parents outside

"do you want to talk about it?" I ask Josie softly

"no not now I just want to sleep" she said and I laid her down on her bed 

"you can leave Hope thanks for taking care of her" Lizzie tells me I nodded and stood up when Josie held on to my hand 

"can you stay for tonight I don't want to get nightmares again" she asked in a scared tone

"sure I'll stay for tonight" I said and both me, Josie and Lizzie drifted to sleep

The next Morning

I woke up and I see Josie still asleep on my arm with her head on my chest I checked the time at it says its 6am I didn't want to wake her up so I try to sleep again there are no classes today after a little while I fell asleep again and woke up around 7am

"Jo wake up" I say and trying to wake her up

"morning Hope" she said to me

"morning Jo did you sleep well" I said

"yeah thanks for staying with me" she said

"for you always" I said trying to get up from her bed

"do you want me to bring you breakfast?" I asked her

"yes please" she said still sleepy

"go get a shower and get dressed I'll be back soon" I said 

I left the room then made my way to the cafeteria and saw Mg with Lizzie's head on his shoulder she must be sleepy from last night, I grabbed food for both me and Josie and I stopped to check on Lizzie

"hey Liz you ok?" I ask

"yeah I'm fine just tired after last night also thanks Hope for getting Josie to sleep she hasn't slept much since we got taken" she says

"no problem Liz I'll always be there for the both of you" I said and she nodded and I headed back to Josie's room

"Hey Josie here's your food" I said 

"thanks Hope" she says

"it's fine Jo, how are you?" I ask

"I'm better then last night, I didn't get any nightmares when you slept with me" she said

"Do you want to talk about it?" I ask her

"not now ok Hope" she tells me

"it's fine I'm not pressuring you into telling me, but I will always be here if you need to talk ok" I tell her she nodded

Then we were interrupted by both Lizzie and Caroline coming into the room 

Josie Pov.

"Hey sweetie How are you?" mom asks me

"I'm fine mom, just a nightmare and you never told us how you knew siphoning the magic from the glass would shatter it" I ask mom Hope st

"ok, so when you girls were little, both me and your dad took you to the Armory and both of your magic were getting out of hand, you weren't able to control it, it was making you guys go nuts. Your father and I didn't know what made your magic go crazy, but then when we got your uncle Kai he mentioned that both you girls were surrounded by magic and that's what made your magic go crazy then he put his hand on the glass and he siphoned the magic from the glass, it shattered and escape, that's how I knew it would work" she explained both me and Lizzie were shocked 

"the reason why you girls weren't able to control your power was because you were in the Armory" mom said

"Hope may I speak with you outside?" mom asked Hope

"sure Caroline" Hope says and they walked outside of the room to talk
