Chapter 12

Hope Pov.

As I finished my homework I only had 10 minutes to get to the mill so I went through the woods to go to the mill then when I arrived I saw Josie looking at me and her eyes are as brown as chocolates

"hey Jo" I say

"hey Hope" she replied sounding nervous

"how were your classes?" I ask her 

"it was good some of them were boring" she replies

"Hope?" she said

"yes Josie" I say

"in the note I said I wanted to tell you something" she says to me

"yes you did what did you want to tell me?" I ask her

"I wanted to tell that I like you Hope like I really really like you and I was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me?" she tells me and I'm shocked I never thought that she liked me back I wanted to tell her for a long time but never got the chance too

"Yes, I'll go on a date with you and I really really like you too since I was 14" I tell her

Josie Pov.

My heart exploded in my chest when Hope agreed to go on a date with and my heart exploded even more when she told me she had a crush on since she was 14, I'm really happy when she said that because I've had a crush on her when I was 14

"Ok Josie I'll pick you up tomorrow night at 8:00" she tells me

"yeah see you tomorrow night"  I say to her and waved her goodbye

As I walk back to my room I couldn't stop smiling because of what Hope said to me, I got to the front of my door and before I even got to touch the door knob Lizzie already opened the door and pulled me inside the room

"so how did it go?" she asks me and I smiled

"I'm guessing it went well come on spill" she tells me

"ok fine" I explain everything to her that happen between me and Hope 

"I never knew you had it in you Jo" she says

"I know right I was so nervous but when I saw her all the nervousness went away I don't know why" I tell her, the whole night we spent talking about me and Hope, I'm surprised that Lizzie is ok with this considering how much she hated Hope before, then soon I fell asleep on Lizzie's bed after have some sister bonding time.

Hope Pov.

As I walk towards my room I couldn't stop thinking about what just happen Josie likes me and I couldn't be any happier, I have to tell someone so I called aunt Freya

"Hey sweetie what's got you all smiley?" aunt Freya says

"Josie asked me out on a date" I tell her

"wow Hope that's nice didn't you have a crush on her when you were like 14" she tells me and I nodded

"I really wish that my parents were here right now I miss them so much" I tell her 

"I know sweetie, but your parents are proud of the woman you have become" she tells me

"anyways how are you doing aunt Freya how's Nik" I ask her

"we're doing well Nik is fine, but the wolves at the Bayou are giving Keelin a hard time" she tells me

"I'll come visit soon I miss you guys" I tell her

"we miss you too, I got to go Nik is crying bye honey have fun" she  says and I wave her goodbye and she hung up
