Chapter 4

Hope Pov

As me and Josie walked towards Dr. Saltzman's office, it was quiet not awkward but comfortable quiet, Josie was worried I can see it so I put my hand on her shoulder and reassure her

"Jo calm down, everything will be fine" I said

"I can't calm down Hope, I can't calm down knowing Lizzie is in danger" as said

"ok then just breath in and out slowly" I said to her while I smile at her

Josie and me were in front of the office when we heard Dr. Saltzman talking to someone else, I looked at Josie and I can see she is as confused as I am. We knocked at the door and he tells us to come in, we walked in and I see my aunt Freya there with Josie's mom Caroline

"Aunt Freya what are you doing here? I thought you were in New Orleans" I said and went to give her a hug

"well I was going to surprise you and visit you tomorrow morning when Alaric called and said that you guys need my help so I hopped onto the plane and came here as fast as I can" Aunt Freya said

"I'm happy your here, how's aunt Keelin and Nik doing?" I said

"Keelin and Nik are doing well" she said

Josie Pov

When I entered my dad's office I saw my mom I didn't expect her come especially because she is going around the world looking for recruits

"Mom!!" I said and hugged her 

"Hi baby" she said

"I miss you so much" I said

"I miss you too baby" she said and we stopped hugging

"what are you doing here? I thought you were half way across the world" I said

"Yes I was, but then your father called and said that your sister is missing, and I was nearby so I decided to come a visit and help" she explained

"Hope and I tried to a locator spell and it didn't show anything, we think that she's being cloaked somewhere" I said as both my mom and Freya looked at me

"ok I will work on finding Lizzie while the rest of you find out how to stop the monster" Freya said

we all nodded and Freya left the office and went to find Lizzie

"Do we know what the monster is Ric" my mom asked

I looked at my dad and I know he hasn't told mom that Seline is back

"Caroline the monster in a Siren like Seline and Sybil" my dad explained

I look at my mom who is shocked and by the look on her face she isn't happy with the fact that the monster is Seline

"Are you sure Ric?" mom asked

"Mom he's right, it's Seline I heard her voice when Lizzie called Hope's phone for help" I tell her

"Ok how do we kill it?" my mom asked

"that's the problem Caroline we don't know" my dad said

"ok do we at least know what they want with the twins?" mom said

"no not yet I have been researching" dad said but he paused 

"I think they need the twins to bring Cade back" dad said

"WHAT NO CADE IS DEAD RIC!!" mom yells at dad

"Josie and I will go to the library to find out how to kill sirens" Hope said and she grabbed my hand and we left the office while my dad and my mom still argued

"Josie" Hope said

"yeah Hope" I said

"if you don't mind me asking who is Cade?" Hope said

"I thought my dad told you about Seline and the sirens" I said

"he did but he never mentioned anything about someone named Cade" Hope said

"ok I guess I'll start from the beginning," I said

Flashback

There was an Island in the Mediterranean, there was a village on that island where a man had psychic powers, his name is Arcadius now we call him Cade. He is the world's first psychic He was a good man with good intentions for his power. 

One Day he wanted to help a man from his village who was struggling with lustful thoughts about a young woman from the village, the village was embarrassed by Arcadius's offer of help, the man turned the whole village against Arcadius.

When the whole village caught Arcadius they put him on a stake and the villagers threw things at Arcadius eventually they burned him, but before he could he let out a loud scream and a loud psychic blast so powerful it created its own dimension that everyone knows as Hell.

After the incident, when someone from the village found out that a young girl is psychic,  the village took her away from the village, the young psychic girl was banished from her village and was put in a boat and got lost as sea and ended up on an island where she met another girl with psychic power. one thing they didn't know is that the island is the island where Arcadius died, The girl's name was Sybil (The village girl) and Seline (The island girl)

The girl wanted to go home, but couldn't. Every time they see a boat their not loud enough to hear them. one day they saw a boat and both girls use their powers to get the boat's attention and when they did they were happy until they saw the boat crash and kill everyone on board the ship. The older girl was known as the Island girl and the village girl was like sister, the island girl knows that the village girl would not want to eat human flesh so the island girl would pass off the human flesh as animal meat. the village girl ate the flesh unknowingly that it was human flesh

When the village girl found out she confronted her sister about the dead bodies she found and about her tricking her into becoming a Cannibal. The village was desperate to cleanse her soul of the horrors she unknowingly caused so she jumped off a nearby cliff and hoping she would die after the village girl jumped the island girl went to look for her when she saw her, the village girl was dying and the island girl plead to god to save her.

instead of god appearing, The spirit of Arcadius appeared. He offered both girls immortality and eternal youth in exchange they would be servants of Arcadius. The island girl agreed on behalf of both of the girls and the village girl was already dead, but Arcadius brought them back to life.

The only price they had to pay was that if they want life and be young they would need to eat the flesh of the people who have sinned, it doesn't matter whether the sins are big or small. Both Girls became the first servants of Arcadius called "The Sirens".
