Chapter 10

Caroline Pov.

"How are you doing Hope?" I ask

"I'm fine just tired" she said

"ok I just wanted to say thank you for staying with Josie last night" I said

"it's no problem Caroline" she said

"and if there's any problem with Josie or if her nightmare's gets worse you can tell me or Ric ok?" I assured her she nodded 

"I want you to promise me you will protect my daughters when I'm not around or when Ric's not around" I said

"I promise Caroline I will protect Josie and Lizzie with my life" she said to me and I smiled, she sounds like her father

"you know when you talk like that you sound like your father when he swore that no harm will come to Tyler or any of my friends" I said, she looked at me and smiled

"Your father wasn't the villain in my story, he was the good guy just like you, just because your name is Mikealson that doesn't mean that your a bad guy, you need to get to know them first" I said and she smiled while having a tear rolling down her cheek thinking about her parents

"Thanks Caroline for saying that it means a lot, every time I overhear people talking about my father I get angry because they didn't know the other side of him" she replied while still crying

"yeah I know well I have to go see you around Hope" I said walking off, she walked back to Josie's room

Hope Pov.

When I finished talking to Caroline, it felt good talking to her about dad because she knew the other side of him, I walked back into the twins room and see Josie asleep, she's sleeping peacefully so I decided to go for a run but before I could walk out of the twins room Lizzie walks out from the bathroom

"how long has Josie been asleep for?" I ask

"for 10 minutes now" she said I nodded

"ok I'm gonna go for a run if anything happens call me" I said to her she nodded and I left the room

I went out near the woods and striped naked and shifted into wolf form, my bone cracking felt nice. As I started to run in the woods I felt relived I kept running around the woods as fast as I can, I wish that I could've run in my wolf form with mom and dad I miss them so much I wish they were here with me, after running for 1 hour I returned back to where I hid my clothes and shifted back. As I am walking back to the school I got a phone call from Lizzie

"Hey Liz what's wrong?" I ask her

"Hope get to my room now it's Josie" as soon as she said that I started running towards her room

"I'm coming" I said then hung up

On my way to the twins room I heard screaming and I know it's Josie screaming so I ran faster and faster when I got to their room and barged in and see Josie tossing and turning she is having a another nightmare

"Josie wake up" I said to her but it's not working

"JO WAKE UP YOUR HAVING A NIGHTMARE!!" I said moving her around but instead of waking up she started to toss and turn more then out of nowhere she blasted me with magic and I got thrown across the room

"AHHH!!" I screamed in pain and Josie woke up

"OMG Hope I'm sorry" she said

"it's fine it's an acci- AHHHH" I said and I groaned in pain and saw that a piece of wood stabbed me in my side, Josie saw and she started to worry

"Jo I need you to take it out" I tell her and her eyes were wide

"what" she said

"take it out I'll heal" I tell her and she nodded and held the wooden stick and started to pull it out 

"AHHHHHHHH!!" I was in pain when Josie pulled it out my wounds heal

"I think I have a broken rib" I said Josie then took my arm to her shoulder and led me to her bed where I sat down to rest when Dr. Saltzman and Caroline barged in

"what happen?" Dr. Saltzman said

"it's fine Dr. Saltzman it was an accident Josie was having a nightmare" I tell both Dr. Saltzman and Caroline 

"are you girls ok?" Caroline asks us

"we're fine mom" Lizzie replied and Caroline nodded 

"ahh" I winced in pain

"can you help me to the infirmary?" I said looking at Josie and she nodded

Josie tossed my arm around her shoulder and we walked slowly to the infirmary, on our way to the infirmary I would be in pain and I couldn't breath that well, when we got to the infirmary Josie lay me on the bed and the nurse started to examine my ribs 

"ok Hope you have a broken rib I bandaged it you will need rest, don't carry heavy things, don't workout to much and most definitely no shifting until the rib is healed" the nurse said I nodded and left with Josie and we walked back to her room when Josie stopped me

"what's wrong Jo?" I ask her and she sighed

"I don't want to sleep in my room I don't want to hurt Lizzie can we go to your room" she said and I nodded, when we entered my room I walked towards my bed and started to fall asleep but I had to sleep in a uncomfortable position because I was in pain
