A heart full of love

The last week of living in New York had been a whirlwind of speaking with attorneys regarding Eddie's divorce from Myra, packing, dates, news articles about a mystery man in Richie Tozier's life, kissing, a lot of sex——which Eddie never thought would happen—— especially in a car and in the shower, cuddling, more watching Brooklyn Nine Nine and Eddie was happy and head over heels for Richie——more so than before.

But LA was a different space and was where Richie had been living for almost 20 years. Eddie hated change and he was scared that LA would change him.

Richie's house was huge and extremely modern. It was like a bigger version of the New York apartment. He had more vinyls and more plants, loads of photos, two living rooms——one being down in the basement that Richie claimed his gaming room, the kitchen was massive and could easily pass as a dancing space, a study with a huge Mac on the desk, a dining room that Richie claimed got barely any use, three bathrooms, four bedrooms and a huge garden with a pool. Richie had done well for himself and Eddie was stood, slightly stunned.

"What room would you like?" Richie asks as he places his keys down, helping Eddie in with his boxes. Eddie stands in the doorway, holding one of the boxes tightly.

"Can-can I not share yours?" He asks, looking at Richie and trying to get his stunned demeanour out of the way." Oh god, are you sick of me already? I-I know I'm clingy but it's...it's only because you're the only person t-to show me real love and I-I don't want that to go away, you comfort me, Richie and-

"Hey, of course we can share my room. I was just making sure that that's what you wanted. I love you being clingy, it's okay." Richie says, walking over and kissing Eddie on the cheek before going to the living room and placing the box down. Eddie follows and does the same." Wait! I was going to carry you in! Y'know, like couples do in movies!"

"Married couples do that." Eddie chuckles and Richie pouts as they walk back outside to grab the rest of Eddie's stuff.

Bringing in boxes and unpacking takes up most of the afternoon, and by the end of it, Eddie is really tired due to the timezones. He sits on the sofa with a yawn and Richie sits down beside him.

"Wanna order pizza? There's a pizza store a block away and...holy shit, best pizza ever." Richie explains and Eddie chuckles slightly as he goes off to grab the menu.

Richie's room is bigger than the one in New York and so is the bed and Eddie had to stop the non-PG thoughts that came to mind when he saw the bed for the first time. Richie's room is filled with movie and band posters and was slightly messy. But Eddie didn't mind the mess. It was so Richie it was almost as comforting as wearing Richie's shirts, which he currently was.

"Thank fuck...Zac should be here soon." Richie says, holding the menu in one hand and his phone in the other." He's Steve's brother. He's been looking after my puppy."

"You have a dog?" Eddie asks and Richie nods with a wide grin, trying to find a photo of his dog." What breed?"

"Pomeranian, got him two months ago...stupidly as I forgot about the upcoming shows." Richie explains and then he turns his phone around, showing Eddie a photo of himself cuddling a small, fluffy brown Pomeranian with the biggest smile on his face." He's a therapy dog. Greg recommended I get one."

"Aww what's he called?" Eddie asks as Richie places his phone onto the coffee table, blushing slightly." Rich?"

"Spaghetti." Richie replies and Eddie grins. Richie had named his dog after him, meaning Eddie had been in his subconscious mind without Richie realising who he was.

"Cute." Eddie states, leaning over and kissing Richie, who instantly deepens it and wraps his arms around Eddie. Soon, they're making out on the sofa and Eddie smiles as Richie hungrily kisses him.
