Don't cry I am here for you - a Luke and Alex story

Chapter 2

Alex's pov

-2 am-

I was wakening up by a little scream from the boy next to me, but he wasn't awake. I looked at him and saw that he was restless, and he sweated a lot. I was scared cause I didn't know what to do. I whispered:" Hey, Luke? Is everything alright?" He opened one eye and looked at me, but he fell asleep immediately. Then I just hugged and cuddled with him and I saw how he became calmer immediately. I just smiled because I think his nightmare was over and then I fell asleep again.

The next morning, I woke up and Luke layed still in my arms, which brought me a grin on my lips. I looked at his face, he looked sweet when he was asleep. Especially his cheeks looked so nice. After a little while, he woke up, too. Luke looked me in the eyes and just smiled, it was like he didn't even care about the fact that I still clasped him. I asked him if everything was alright, because of tonight. He just looked at me with a questionable look, I think he doesn't know what I meant. "You had a nightmare, and you were restless, and you sweated a lot. " "Ok, I didn't notice that" He had a smile on his lips." You know that you can always talk with me, about everything." "Yeah, I know, but everything is alright. I think I just miss my parents a little." I knew that he missed them a lot, but he doesn't want to go back, because they didn't accept the fact he was in a boy band. I know that it was very hard for him to talk about them. It has been 4 weeks now since he ran away, and he tried to just not think about them and he was trying very hard to not show us that he was in real pain. But I noticed it and I felt like I just need to be there for him, even he plays it cool. So I just hugged him and he hugged me back. I felt something wet on my shoulder. That was making me hugging him just harder, I felt so sorry for him.

After one hour Reggie and Bobby came around and we played a round of dart, which I won. I am actually pretty good in dart. I think this game brought Luke to other thoughts. I am really worried about him. He didn't say a word to the others about his feelings, he just plays it nice and looks happy all the time when they are around. I think Reggie noticed that something was wrong like a week ago, but Bobby doesn't notice anything. After that, we practiced our latest song. I rocked it on the drums and Luke on the guitar. When he Plays music he is obviously in another world, where he can be who he really is and he really rocks it. When he sings he puts all his feelings in his voice and he doesn't have to think about anything or anyone, because he is free. I love to see him like this when he feels good and doesn't care about what happened. After our practice we ordered pizza, I got a pizza Hawaii, Bobby ordered a pizza Margherita and Reggie and Luke both got a pizza Regina. When the food finally came we paid for it and ate it and we enjoyed it so bad. When we all sat together on the couch and in a seat, I felt nice. After so many years of being a band, this was the nicest part. Sitting together and just talking. We talked about our dream of playing in the Orpheum one day and about our merchandise. We said, that we are doing a black t-shirt with our band logo in white on it and the other way around. On the back, we want our song titles from our latest album. Two of the songs were "This band is back" and our latest song "Now or Never". This Band is Back is a song we wrote after a short break, because of school, but then when we came back we wanted to celebrate it with a song. And then there is now or never. Luke wrote it 2 weeks ago and I think it is perfect. It means that you should live in the now and not in the future or past and that you should enjoy your life right now.

Then the evening came, and Bobby left first. Reggie and I stayed a little longer and then Regg started to talk to Luke if everything was alright because he recognized that something wasn't alright. I could see in Luke's face that he doesn't want to talk about it and then he just said that he thinks a lot about his mom and that he is sad because she didn't appreciate the fact that he was in a boy band. Reggie looked like he felt as sorry for him as I do. We hugged him and said, that we are always there for him and when he feels to talk to someone he can talk always to us. He smiled after that and I could see the tears running down his face. He was really broke and he hides it all day long and now all the emotions ran out of him. He sat down and just cried, he misses his parents so much but he is way too scared to go back to them. When Midnight came Reggie needed to go, too. I stayed here with Luke and we talked so much. He told me that he is so thankful that I am helping him out. We then watched a movie on Luke's laptop and then I noticed that he fell asleep in my arms. I smiled at him and then I closed the laptop and tried to sleep, too. I fell asleep with the thought that Luke is in so much pain and it makes me sick, that his mom isn't there for him, because I really care about his feelings.
