When we got to the bunker I explained to them what I had been through in Eichen House and what they forced me to do. I left the detail about Scott's pack out of the conversations. Same with the Hale family.
I don't know how open-minded they are about creatures, even if they were doing good things. Dean got over it fast but still was a bit careful. I don't blame them, if Stiles never knew who I was he wouldn't trust me at all. I would be his case and it would be shut when I was gone or dead.
Sam on the other hand understood me...partially. They filled me in on how their mother was in an apocalyptic world with the son of Satan as Dean put it. They were trying to get them back.
After we had had the entire conversation they showed me a room that I could stay in for the night. In the morning they introduced me to Castiel who was busy with a prophet named Donatello.
I took a shower after for once had a good night's sleep and made my way into the kitchen.
"Don't you think you should, uh, take it easy with the nitrates?" Sam told Dean.
"Dude, if bacon's what kills me. I win" He said munching on some more bacon.
"I'll have to agree on that," I said stealing one from his plate. I glanced at him giving him a devious smile, which to my surprise he returned. Sam eyed us both.
"Cas, Hey, how's Donatello"
"Yeah how's ninja turtle" I joked he gave me a short laugh.
"He says he's making progress, but we still need more angel grace. We should be out looking for Lucifer" Cas said.
"We are," Sam said.
"Look we got the word out to every hunter we know, okay. If they see anything satan-y ...they'll drop a dime." Dean told him.
"And Michael? If he succeeds in getting to our world first"." Cas was worried. I went over to him and put my hand on his arm.
"It's going to be okay, Cas. A great defense is sometimes a good offence" I told him.
"We'll give Donatello everything he needs to open that gate, then we stealth in, we get mom, we get Jack, boom. Family reunion. It's just gonna take some time." Dean reassured. When he mentioned Jack I looked at him. Was it the same Jack?
"It's going to be that smooth Dean, but we'll get them back. None of you need to worry about that."
"How do you know that, it can be that easy, for once it can be that easy" Dean said eating the rest of the bacon.
Donatello interrupted us telling us he solved it. He gave Sam a list of ingredients that he needed for the spell.
"Oil of Abramelin, Angelica root - we have most of this stuff," He said scanning the list. "Other than the...the hearts of Gog and Magog" he added disappointed.
"Sorry what?" Dean was confused. It was adorable, it made me laugh.
"Um, uh, they're people. Kind of. Uh, sometimes referred to as brothers, other times lands. Uh, you know how bibles are. Too damn many translations." Donatello told us.
"Wait, Gog and, and Magog... I'd heard rumors, but I didn't think they were human," Cas asked confused.
"They were ancient warriors who enslaved half the Fertile Crescent until some priests cast a spell to bind them in a way in a place without a place and a time without a time," Donatello said.
"Okay, so we're supposed to find these guys and cut out their hearts? How?" Dean asked.
"The-the demon tablet has very specific instructions on how to free them. These men are very dangerous," he told him.
"Then I'll do it," Cas said.
"I'll go with you" Dean and I said at the same time.
"Excellent! And Sam and I will stay behind to, uh, uh, assemble the other ingredients. Now, um... where do you keep your virgin lamb's blood?" He asked Sam as the two of them walked away to go get it.
Dean was looking down from the top of the stairs as Cas and I made our way up. I had a feeling Cas wasn't doing too well, he missed Jack.
I saw that the two of them needed to talk so I went ahead to the impala and took a seat in the back. When we arrived at the field where Gog and Magog were supposed to be, Dean told me to stay in the car.
I started called Stiles in the meantime and asked if he was doing okay, he told me he accidentally killed someone. It was self-defense, I assured him that it was okay. He was going to be okay, with time. The kill would stay with him forever but it would be easier to handle.
It was his first kill and it would be his last, I knew that. He was a good person. Sometimes the big sister looks up to the little brother instead of the other way around.
He hadn't told Scott, he didn't know how. The last thing he wanted was to disappoint his best friend, he knew the morals Scott had. He wouldn't understand. Not yet.
He was really upset and it was times like these that I wished I never left home. I told him I loved him and that I was glad that he felt that he could talk to me about this. He said he loved me too and we hung up the phone.
I got out of the car to get some air, I saw Dean and Cas make their way back to the car.
"What happened?" I asked them.
"They don't have hearts," Cas said and sat in the car. I looked at Dean. "Yeah, that's a problem," I said as we both got in the car and drove back to the bunker.
When we got to the bunker it was trashed. Sam was holding an ice pack to his head as he went to show us what happened to Donatello. He led us down to door 7B and opened it.
"Ohoho, you got a dungeon. Freaky!" I said looking around as Dean told Cas to take me to the library. I didn't want to go, but I obliged. I looked through some books finding something called The Wild Hunt, it sounded interesting so I kept reading until they came back.
They didn't, but I did hear a door slam shut and Sam calling for Cas. I ran over there in case they needed help, both Dean and Sam tried to get in but the door didn't budge. I used my powers to blast the door open.
As the door opened with a bang Cas was putting on his trench coat walking out, passed us, and into the library. Donatello was out cold.
"I know what we have to do," he said.
