Penny's pov:

A few days ago, I found out, that Sam's parents wanted to meet me tonight in the wholefish cafe. I was extremly nervous. A thousand worries came into my head. What if his parents doesn't like me, or if they think I'm not good enough for their son? I was standing in front of the closet, wondering what to wear today, as I sat on the bed, because I was getting so nervous.

Sam walked past the bedroom, and saw me looking at the floor and sat down next to me on the bed to put his arm around me. "Hey, what's going on?", Sam asked me gently, as I looked at him and drowned in his blue eyes.

"I think, I'm just a little nervous. It's your parents that I'm meeting today, that doesn't happen every day", I laughed softly, but looked back at the floor.

"You have no reason to be nervous. I'm with you and believe me, my parents are very corious, but they don't harm anyone. They just love to bite", he winked and tried to improve my mood. And actually it did, because I had to smile at his little joke - or wasn't it?!

"You don't need to dress up to be beautiful, you already are", he whispered in my ear and it caused goose bumps, that I felt all over my body.

"Thanks Sam, but I'll still dress appropriately, and so should you too", I giggled and looked at him, as he looked down at himself. He was still wearing sweatpants and a black t-shirt. It looked great on him, but it was too casual for a family gathering.

"I agree, but you definitely have to wear something", he smiled and looked at me. I also looked down at myself and realized, that I was only sitting there in my underwear. "You can go like this, I'd love it, but it's January and I don't want you to get sick", he said and kissed me, before he left the bedroom to go to the bathroom.

I looked at the closet again and found something good to wear. A black Jeans and a red wool sweater. I also found a matching chain, when Sam called me from below:

"Penny, my love, are you coming down? We have to go."

"Yes, I come!" I grabbed my shoes from the closet and ran down the stairs quickly.

"Wow... you look really beautiful. As always." I smiled sheepishly as he stepped in front of me and put his hand on my cheek. "Really Pen, you look so beautiful, so please don't worry." I nodded and sat down on the stairs to put my shoes on. Sam held out my jacket, which I accepted with thanks and hand in hand we left the house.

It was really cold outside and I was really glad, that we finally got the cafe. "I'm still so nervous", I confessed, looking into the cafe and could see Sam's parents talking with Charlie.

"I'm with you Penny and if you want to go, just let me know and we'll go. I don't care what everyone in there thinks of you or what they think of me. I love you and that won't change the opinion of others!", he said gently, but also seriously.

I squeezed his hand tighter and put my free hand on his cheek and kissed him gently. "I love you so much too!", I said, rubbing my nose against his.

"When then, let's go in, if you're not kissing me it's totally cold out here", he smiled and held out the door for me.

As soon as we were inside, Bronwyn took us in her arms and led us to Charlie and Sam's parents.

"It's nice to ses you again", Sam smiled and hugged first his mum and then his dad. "And you too, big brother."

I felt like I was going to explode at the moment, I was soo nervous! When Sam's mum looked at me directly, I must have looked likea little child, who wanted to run away from fear - and I wanted it! But Sam put his hand around my waist and pulled me closer to him to show me, that I'm not alone, that he is with me.
