A live together

Chapter 4 / Big brother

Sam's pov:

It's been a few days since Penny met my parents. They got along really good, which made me very happy. I was just about to do the dishes, when I felt two arms turn me. I knew who it was, but I turned my head to the side to see the woman who stole my breath every time. She put her head on my back and hugged me harder. Now, I turned me around completely to her take her in my arms. 

"Thank you very much for that", Penny muttered into my cheast.

"I know how much you hate washing dishes."

"Then you will do it too, when we have the night shift together later?!", she lift her head from my cheast and looked at me with wide eyes. I could see the sparkle in her eyes - I loved it.

"Somebody has to do it, but yes, I really enjoy doing it. This is the only way to get clean dishes", I said playfully and kissed her forehead. She put her head back on my cheast and so we stood here for a while, until I remembered to doing the dishes. "Now, we're here and the dishes aren't still done. Let me finish this quickly and then, we'll do something much better. What do you think of that?", I asked her, but she hugged me tighter.

"Okay, but I won't let go of you", she muttered, as I turned me around to finally finish doing the dishes.

"You see, that happend very quickly", I grinned and Penny grinned too, when she turned me back to her and let her hands slide in my neck. Our faces were only inches apart, when I put my hands on her waist.

"I love you", she breathed softly and my heart was beating faster, that it should. Those three words from her mouth made me go weak on my knees every time. I couldn't her it often enough - just as I couldn't say it often enough.

I picked her up, so that she was sitting on my hip and she wrapped her legs around me. I carried her into the living room and let us fall on the sofa. I started kissing her throat, when I felt her hands gently caressing my neck. She kissed me with a passion, that I was glad to sit on the sofa, because my legs would give away. We enjoyed our togetherness very much, but the doorbell interrupted us.

"Whoever is at the door has a really bad timing", I sighed and put my head on her shoulder in annoyance. 

"I'll open the door", she said and kissed me briefly again, before she got up from my lap and went to the door. I waited in the living room, until I heard Penny scream with joy. "Mum! Derek!" Slihgty confused, I went down the stairs to see a blonde woman and a man with dark brown hairs. Penny took them both in her arms and turned to me, when she realized, that I was standing behind her. "Sam, may I introduce, this is my mother Kate and this is my big brother Derek."

"I'm really happy to meet you", I smiled and gave my hand to her Mum and then to her brother - although he didn't take it. I raised my eyebrow in confusion, when Penny looked at me.

"This is Sam, my boyfriend, but I already told you that. I didn't know, that you wanted to come. Is there a special reason?", she asked, a little worried.

"No, No Penny, we just wanted to see how you are and we wanted to take the opportunity to get to know your boyfriend, who you were always raving about", she winked at me and turned to her son. "Derek said you've been seen on TV before, Sam. Is that really true?"

"Yes, somehow, but not really voluntarily. I'm often in the news, but I've also had to make a movie, that almost cost me my job. Especially since I'm not even a good actor", I said while I put my hand behind my head.

"Yes, I saw the film. It was really bad, but you don't have to expect that from a simple firefighter either. Apparently, Everyone can do put out a fire with a garden hose", he laughed and I noticed Penny's slightly angry face. She didn't seem to really like the comment.
