The keys of the piano and violin were heard throughout the halls. They went so well together.

"Hikari? Has something been on your mind?" You turn to see Emiko with a concerned look. "Oh I'm okay! No worries!" She walks closer and pinched your cheeks, stretching out your face. "Ow! Ow! Ow! What are you doing?" She hums and looks closer, "You're definitely not okay. No offense, but your blocking hasn't been well.." She says letting go.
"It hasn't? Oh right...sorry.." You said looking down at your feet. "You can always talk to us, you know that right?" Miyoko says patting your back, "Yeah, I know." You softly smiled.

The tournament was coming closer and closer each day. Ryuji began skipping lunch to go practice with Naomi, meaning, the distance between you guys grew even more. And it wasn't just you and him. Maria and Fuji haven't talked to him either.
"Man...I really miss Ryu.." Fuji groans before aggressive eating his sandwich, "Same...that girl..Naomi..she kind of just..dragged him into the competition..and he didn't even know about it.." Maria sighs.
"Well it's not like he doesn't enjoy piano. I'm sure we'll all get to hang out again!" You chuckled, "But..I really miss him too.." You softly said while poking at your food.

(Day of Tournament)
"Looking good Hikari! Number 12 looks amazing on you!" Maria cheered as you walked out of the locker room. "Just following my dad's footsteps. Same to you. Number 4 and having the spotlight." She chuckles and holds up a thumbs up, "Cause I'm the star geez!" You flicked her forehead and went out to the court.
"I'm so nervous..I can feel my palms starting to sweat." You muttered, "Shake off them...NERVES!!" You felt a ball hit your head and turned to see Emiko. "We're gonna win this no matter what! So be confident in yourself!" You caught the other ball she threw and smiled.
"Thanks..but geez that was a hard serve.." You groaned and rubbed your head.

"She's playing Middle blocker AND has your number?" He nods, "Crazy right? I wasn't expecting for her to end up following my footsteps." He chuckles.
"YAMAGUCHIIII!! Y/NNNNNN!!"
You both turned to see Nishinoya, "Nishinoya! Hey! What are you doing here?" You said giving him a small hug, "You forgot? My daughter is also on the team! Right there! Number four and star of the court!" You looked down and saw Sunny and her practicing together.
"She surely stands out with red hair." You chuckled.
"NOYA!! Y/N!! YAMAGUCHI!!"
Once again, you all turned to see Tanaka.
"TANAKAAAA!!" Nishinoya yelled and they hugged each other tightly, "After all these years..they still act like we're still in high school.." Yamaguchi chuckles.
"Yamaguchi! My man! What's up?" Tanaka says aggressively patting his back, "Ow- Nothing much..you here to cheer on..Fuji was it?" Tanaka nods and smiles, "They're going against Date Tech right now. I was gonna head there after but I saw you guys in the lobby." You nodded and smiled.
"Well it's wonderful seeing you again. Last time we all were able to talk was..summer? At the reunion?" They nod and turn back to the court.
"Yo."
Once again...you ALL turned to see...the one and only..
"KAGEYAMA!!!!"
Everyone jumped to him and gave him a big hug. "W-What happened??" Kageyama asks stumbling back a bit. "WE HAVEN'T SEEN YOU IN SO LONG!! WE ALWAYS WATCH YOUR GAMES!!" Tanaka says with tears in his eyes.

"Tanaka. Honey. They won, let's go see Fuji."
"KIYOKO-SAN!!" You yelled and hugged her tightly, "Y/n! Hey! Lovely to see you again." She says hugging you back. "We should all hang out again. I could really use a break from work." You said letting go of her, "Agree." They all chuckled. "Just so you know Kageyama..my son is gonna beat yours and we're gonna go to nationals." Kiyoko sighs and dragged Tanaka away, "Sorry about that Kageyama. We'll see you again soon." She says waving. You all waved and turned back to the game beginning. "Seems like just yesterday we were playing in this same exact gym.." Nishinoya sighs, "Time really does go by fast.." You said then laying your head on Tadashi's shoulder.

(Back to Hikari's POV)
"What's going on up there..?" Sora asks handing you a ball, you looked up in the stands and there was your parents. "M-My parents..sorry.." You nervously chuckled, "Oh no need to be sorry! I think it's cute that they're coming to cheer us on." She says smiling softly.
"Not to mention my dad is here too.." Maria groans, "Better give it your all." Emiko says patting Maria's back. "Yeah Yeah...where are your parents?"
"My dad is busy at work but he'll come watch us tomrrow." Maiko says and the whistle blew meaning...the match was about to begin.

"Miyoko!" Aiko says then setting the ball to her, Miyoko spikes the ball through the middle blockers and it hits the ground. "YES! Thanks Aiko!" They gave each other a high five and smiled.
Your team had won the first set and was in the lead for the second set. "I could really use some ice cream right now.." Maria groans and wipes her sweat off her forehead, "You always want ice cream. But let's get some once we win this match." Maiko chuckles.
The other team wasn't so hard but they still took some points.
Your team had won the match meaning, the next team would probably be even tougher.
"Waaa! I'm so happy Hikari!! We did ittt!" Maria yells with tears in her eyes, "This is only the beginning Maria, but I'm very happy as well." You giggled ruffling her hair.

"Ryu! You actually came?" Maria exclaims, "Of course I did, why wouldn't I?" He says then turns to you. "Congrats on your first win. Here." You looked down at the bag in his hand and smiled, "You didn't have to get me anything Ryu! You cheering us on is enough already." He shakes his head and motions for you to open it.
"No way...it's beautiful! Thank you so much!" You laughed and hugging him. He chuckles and hugged you back lightly, "Anytime. Go ahead and get ready for the next match, we'll be cheering for you guys in the stands." You let go and stepped back. "We?"
"Ryuji! Am I late?"
She's just a friend. So why does it hurt whenever she's around him. It's not like he's yours..
Keep smiling...keep smiling..you got this.. You shook your head, "Not at all! We're actually about to go warm up! See you guys in the stands!" They waved as you and Maria walked to the gym. "What's in that bag?" She asks looking over, "A sunflower necklane..beautiful isn't it?" You said holding it up, she looks at it in awe and smiles. "Very. He sure knows how to pick out gifts." You nodded and continued walking.
"Go! Go! Let's go! Let's go! Dateko!"
You guys entered the gym and chills crawled up your spine.
