"Prank call"

"So...Hikari...got a crush?" Tamiko says causing everyone else to smirk, "Why you ask that? Of course not." You said looking at everyone confused. "Oh come on. It's obvious you like Ryu." Maria giggles, "Huh? I don't like him- well I do! But, as a friend." The girls rolled their eyes at each other and sighed.

"Alright, whatever you say~ though we'll give you all the tips for dating!" Suzuki giggles. You blushed and continued to shove chips into your mouth. "Wait...do you have his number?" Maria asks, you nod and pull out your phone. "Why do you ask?" She smiles and takes the phone and seconds later, you heard the phone ringing.

"Hello?"

Your eyes widen to Ryu's voice. "Heyyy Ryuuu! What's uppp?" Maria cooed while the girls tried to hold in their laughs.

"Maria? Is that you?" He asks. "Uhh whaaaat? Pff- noooo, this is Hikari!" She says changing her voice to a higher pitch. "Uh huh...so why do you have her phone? Aren't you guys at a sleepover?" Maiko moved over and cleared her throat, "Uh this is Hikari's boyfriend. Why are you in her contact list?" The girls bursted out laughing while you sat there in shock.

"Well...I don't really know..we just exchanged numbers in the summer..are you sure you're her boyfriend?" He asks with a small chuckle. "Uh yeaaaa, why would I be- pfff- I CAN'T- HAHAHA!" She broke out of character and held her stomach while laughing. With Maiko's laugh same as her dad's, everyone laughed even harder.

You heard Ryu's laugh from your phone and quickly grabbed it while everyone was distracted. "I am so sorry Ryu- that was no supposed to happen." You said while panicking. "No worries Hikari. It was funny. Have fun at the sleepover, I'll see you Monday." He chuckled then ended the call.

The team had finally calmed down and wiped their tears away, "Oh my god that was hilarious." Tamiko says trying to catch her breath. "Ha ha so funny." You scoffed, Maria came over and shaking you back and forth.

"Aww come on Hikari. Don't be maddd. I bet it was nice heading his voice hmmm~?" You blush and a smile creeped on your face. "Ahhh I see that smile! And blush too!" Maria exclaims. The rest of the team giggled, "Now...PILLOW FIGHT!" Seconds later a pillow was thrown at your face.

"MHMP- Oh it is so on!" You said getting up and beginning to wack others in the face.

Ryuji's POV~

"Ryu! My man!! What's up?" I felt a hard slap on my back and turned to see Fuji. "Ouch. Nothing much, surprised to see you here so early at school. What's the occasion..?" He chuckles and looks up with what seems to look like tickets in his hands.

"Do you know these are?" I adjusted my glasses and looked closer, "Amusement park tickets?" He nods, "Annnnnd why do you think I have them?" I was getting annoyed. "For us..?" He then made one of those sounds in video games when you lose.

"Nope! Wrong! These...are for you and Hikari. Aren't I the best wing man?" I gave him a confused look, "Um...thanks..? Why didn't you just use them to go with Maria?" I asked while changing my shoes at the lockers.

"Because, it's obvious you like her. But you guys are just so...awkward.." I turned and glared at him, "I-I didn't mean it like that!" He panics. "No, not that. I don't like Hikari. All she is to me is a friend." He sighs and shrugs his shoulders.

"That's what you want to believe. But hey, the Inter-High Tournament is next month. I'm sure it'll help her relax a bit." He puts the tickets in my hand and walks off.

I looked at the tickets and totally forgot about Inter-high tournaments. I heard giggles behind me and turned to see Maria and Hikari talking together. Looking back at the tickets..

If it'll help her...then I'll consider them.
