It is your deep-set eyes that captivate me first. Saturated limestone waters that captivate my thirst. I keep my head above the wave lines, the weight of your waters will not swallow me, i will not drown in you.

scribbled out thoughts, I'll write first what I intend to say; but it never works that way.

You are no ordinary occurrence, a brisk Alaskan sunrise; encroaching in daylight's blushing gleam. A beginning I wasn't ready for.

Guide me to your darkest depths with your currents. Not a rough draft, nor a planned breakup; not some boy I want to push away after I've revealed too much of myself to.

A tongue swelling, awkward, stuttering heartache; you are a glorified catastrophe dripping in golden promises. a disaster that couldn't have gone more smooth.

And I, am drawn to adversity; like lightning's toxicity to sea, I will swim out to it and allow the density of your waters to open my broken-ness.
