"I'm in this forever."

"A full week?" I sadly asked Brandon. We were in his room playing music until he suddenly stopped to tell me something.

"I know it seems long baby, but I'll be back before you know it. I promise."

"But do you have to go?" I whined.

He got up from the piano and pulled me with him to his bed and I hid my face in his chest as we held each other.

"Yes, I have to go, Callie," he whispered into my hair. "I promised my Dad we'd go visit colleges together and this is the only time he's free."

I twisted my fingers in his shirt, refusing to let him get away from me. "I'm going to miss you, Brandon. I wish I could come with you," I whispered, a few tears falling from my eyes.

"Oh, baby, I'm going to miss you, too. But we'll talk every day and I'll be back before you even realize I left."

A week is a long time. Brandon and I have been together 6 months now and it couldn't be better.

The whole family knows about us now. Everyone knew it was bound to happen eventually, and they've all been so supportive. Even Jude, which was a huge relief.

It's been so great just being able to hold his hand and cuddle with him without having to worry what the family is gonna think. We spend all of our time together.

I'm not used to being away from Brandon for such a long period of time. Who's going to cuddle with me at night and sing me to sleep and watch bad movies with me and hold my hand at the table? A week is too long.

I lift my head from his chest and tangle my fingers in his hair and pull him down to me, our lips hovering, not yet touching. "I already miss you," I whispered as I brushed our lips gently. "I love you," I added.

And with that, he pressed his lips to mine, persistent and hard. He climbed on top of me, his hands playing with the hem of my shirt.

We still haven't gone all the way. It's like the universe doesn't want us to. But now would be the perfect time, no one is home.

Just as I'm about to pull away from the kiss to tell him this is our chance, I hear the front door opening.

"Callie? Brandon?" Stef yells.

Brandon groans and rolls off of me. I kiss his cheek and get off the bed.

"Yeah, we're here," I yell from the top of the staircase.

I walk down to greet her in the kitchen. She smiles when she sees me.

"Everything good?" she asks.

I look at her confused. "Yeah, why wouldn't it be?"

"Make-out face," she replies with a smirk.

I feel myself turn bright red and run to the bathroom, attempting to fix myself up before everyone gets home for dinner.

Stef is still laughing when I walk out and run straight upstairs.

"Dinner in an hour," she yells.

"Okay, got it," I yell back. I hear Brandon playing in his room and decide to let him be for now. I decide to take a nap before dinner.

"Callie? Callie, wake up," I hear. I open my eyes to see Brandon shaking me awake, speaking softly.

"Hey you," I whisper and pull him in for a kiss.

He reciprocates for a few seconds then pulls away smirking at my pouting face.
