Mikey kept looking at me as I sat on the sidewalk. I kept staring down at the ground.
"Gerard, I'm so sorry."
I looked up at him, tears in my eyes. Then, I ran to my room, and got my drawing that I drew for Frank, and a piece of paper.
"Mikey," I told him, "Could you help me write this song? It's important."
"Of course," he said.

That night, I laid in my bed. The stared at the ceiling.

"Oh just you wait, Frank. You're going to love it tomorrow."

The next morning I woke up with a note on my pillow.

"I'm going over to my friends house. I made something for you. It's in your closet. I hope you like it."

It was signed, "Love, Mikey."

I got out of bed and opened the closet.

I almost cried.
