After that day with Frank in the cafeteria, we became friends. Soon, we became best friends. Then, we became inseparable.
Frank Iero was like a magnet and I was the only piece of metal that stuck on. I loved it when I made him smile instead of him using a fake one.
"Hey Frank," I told him, "you should use your real smile more often. I like that one better."
He laughed a little bit, and gave another smile. It was warm and cute. It was so comforting.
I remember the day he asked me "Am I important?"
It was so confusing. I remember just staring at him.
"Frank, you are so damn important."
"Really?"
"Are you kidding me? I wouldn't be surprised if you became a millionaire one day. You are so talented, and you mean so much to me." I told him.
He shot me a real smile again.
"Why would you say that?" I asked him.
He sighed. "I've just been feeling like a waste of space lately."
But trust me, he was anything but a waste of space.
