Athena's POV:

After telling Fred the plan that Sally and I came up with he sighed.

"You know she loves him. Do you think its really going to work?" He sounded doubtful.

"We have to try it's what's best for the both of them." I said.

He frowned. "Ok, then lets go talk to her before she tries to go to the hospital again."

I nodded and we went to Annabeth's room.

"Annabeth?" I knocked on her door. "Can we come in honey?" I asked through the door.

"Sure, the door's unlocked." Is the reply I received.

She was at her desk doing what I assumed was homework, but it was actually a blueprint. As I got closer I could see it more clearly. It was a beautiful house, one that I could see myself designing in fact.

"Honey this is amazing! Why didn't you tell me you liked to make blueprints?" I praised her work as I picked up the paper to take a closer look.

She shrugged. "Percy was the only one I told." She said and her eyes noticeably darkened.

I rubbed her shoulder. "Well this is very good." I grinned wide down at her.

She gave me a small smile. "Thanks mom."

Fred sat down on her bed.

"Honey can you come sit with us for a second. We have something we want to talk to you about." Fred explained and waved her over.

"Okay." She said hesitantly. She walked over and sat down next to her dad. I sat next to her, making her in the middle of us both.

"Annabeth I talked with Sally the other day and.." I started and the Annabeth caught me off.

"Percy's ok right?! He's not getting worse?." She asked worriedly like she might burst with anguish if anything was wrong.

"No honey." I rubbed her back. "He's perfectly fine. We talked about you not visiting him anymore at the hospital." I explained and waited for the fire to erupt in her. Like mother like daughter I thought to myself.

"What?! Why? I can't. I wont mom!" She stood up, obviously perturbed by my suggestion.

"Annabeth, please. Hear me out." I pleaded.

"Annabeth we want you to focus more on school and Sally agrees. We don't think it's healthy for you to keep seeing him the way he is. Sally agreed to call you if there are any ever developments or issues." Fred explained softly.

Annabeth looked like her heart had been ripped out. I almost gave in and told her the truth. I think Fred noticed because he gripped my hand tightly.

She paced back and forth for awhile before she spoke up.

"Sally promises to tell me if anything happens?" She asked turning towards us.

"Yes, she'll tell you everything that happens, big or small." I answered.

I few tears rolled down her cheeks.

"Ok, but if anything major happens I'm going to see him, whether you guys agree or not." She declared. I admired her fire.

"Of course." Fred chimed in.

She started to cry more and walked back towards the bed. We held her as she cried and I'll admit, I cried too.
