NorRay oneshots

No thoughts, Head empty, just angst.

"..what?" the ginger was speechless. "I said, I caught him cheating, Emma. I don't want to repeat myself." The raven then looked away with pained eyes. "That can't.. Norman won't do something like that! I.." Emma looked down. The news was sudden, it really shook her, especially for the fact that Ray explained it bluntly.

Silence filled the room.

"Ne, Ray.." she looked down, while the boy looked at her. "Yeah?"

"are you.. harming yourself by any chance..?"

"..."

"I'm planning to die,"

Emma looked horrified, she didn't want to lose a close friend.

"No,, don't..! we can fix this.. let's talk things out!!" the ginger panicked.

"I'm sorry, Emma. I really love Norman, this won't be easy for me. I really love him, and so I thought he also loves me as the same way I feel. We made so many promises together, but then again I guess promises are really meant to be broken." Tears were streaming down his face, voice was hoarse.

"Ray j-just-"

"Its fine! Just move on when I'm gone, you'll forget about me soon enough. So please.."

Emma was already sobbing at this point. She can't let this happen.

"I-I" she looked back up, but her eyes widened in fear. Ray was about to jump off the balcony.

No way!! This building is high!!

"So please, take care of Norman for me, I love you guys."

He smiled before letting himself fall of the edge. Emma ran as fast as she can, but as soon as she was about to grab onto the latter's hand, it was too late. She didn't react quickly.

"RAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

{PRESENT TIME}

"..I see, so that's what really happened, huh?"

Norman and Emma stood in front of the grave. Mourning together. The albino started crying, "This is my fault, I'm sorry Emma, we lost another friend of ours.. I'm truly sorry Ray. If only I didn't cheat you..would still be alive..."

"Norman, there's no point in regretting now, apologizing won't bring the dead back to life."

"..."

"I- I know.. "

"He wanted to say that, he loves you and wish that you're happy with her." Emma wanted to stay strong, holding back the tears, she just said that regretting is too late, yet she regrets not being able to save Ray from despair.
