Today is the day. The day that I'll be telling Norman. It's been 5 months since I was diagnosed with an unknown disease. It seems that this disease can't be cured and my life span decreases. "I'm sorry mister Ray, but you only have 3 weeks left to live." These words tend to be stuck in my mind all the time.

I wanted to tell Norman but every time I try and talk to him he seems to be avoiding me, I don't mind though, maybe he's busy with too much things. He also goes out more often. It makes me feel relieved that he won't see any signs that I might be sick but at the same time it makes me feel lonely.

Well I guess its enough of the explaining.

 I walked my way to Norman's office, the staff greeting me which I bluntly returned.

I knocked on the door, yet no one answered. Weird. I knocked again. No answer yet again. "I'm coming in!"

I turned the knob over, the door making a creaking sound. "Norma-"

I just stood there, wide-eyed. My mind couldn't process anything. Norman and Emma were kissing. What the hell- My body can't move, is- is this why Norman was always 'busy'? he was cheating on me. I could not believe this. Is this why he's rarely home? Just so he can fucking be with Emma?

"Ray I can explain-" "Save it." I clenched my fists and grit my teeth. Why? I want to walk away but I just can't.

Norman was approaching me, I stammered backwards. Emma was watching, silence is all that's in the room. "Ray, please-" he took another step. "Don't- don't come near me--!" I was backed into a wall. Move Darn it! I was feeling dizzy, Oh gosh not now, please please please please- Fuck. It felt as though the entire world was evolving in front of me. "Ray-" "don't touch me!"

I can't breathe. All I heard was Norman's voice calling out to me then everything turned black.

THIRD PERSON POV:

Ray woke up in a hospital room, slowly remembering what had happened before he went unconscious.

"You're awake.." the raven turned to see who was talking.

"Why are you here? Go away" greatttt, he's the least person I want to be with right now. Ray thought to himself. "Ray.. I'm sorry about earlier-" "I don't want to hear you excuses. Now just go away will you? We're over." The raven coldly stated, looking elsewhere for distraction. Norman ignored what the raven had said and then spoke up, "Wh-why didn't you tell me sooner..!
?" his tone sounded upset.

"Oh. You want to know about that now?? WELL SORRY IF I DIDN'T INFORM YOU SOONER. BUT YOU LOOKED LIKE YOU WERE HAVING FUN BEING BUSY WITH EMMA. I KEPT TRYING TO REACH OUT TO YOU YET TO TEND TO AVOID ME. I'VE TRIED NORMAN. I WAS SUFFERING, AND YOU WERE JUST DOING WHATEVER CHEATING ON ME! YOU STILL THINK YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO GET MAD???" The raven had snapped, he did not want to deal with this shit right now.

"I.." The albino was speechless, what Ray said had him come to realization and felt utterly guilty.

Silence filled the air.

The door opened, revealing a doctor with blonde hair and has two braids. "Um, excuse me mister..? Visiting hours are over, the patient needs to rest as well." Both men turned to look at her. Norman nodded and stood from his seat. Before walking out he muttered something that Ray still heard.

"I'll come back tomorrow"

The doctors had explained that, to avoid more pressure and for the decrease of his life span can slow down, he would be living in the hospital until the time comes. Ray has no choice but to comply, so he did.

Norman, as he said yesterday, really did come back to visit the raven haired boy. "If you're hear to waste my time-"

"Then let's waste it right" the albino smiled. ..huh? Ray was confused. Such a smartass.... "Look, even if we aren't in a relationship anymore, then I want to make it up to you as a best friend."

Best friend, huh. That hurts

"I'm sorry for cheating on you-" "Look, you're forgiven already since i'm about to die anyway so just shut up about that situation already". Ray cut the latter off. "Are you..sure..?" Norman hesitated. "Yeah, but I have one last request, Norman."

"..what is it?"

"Hold me while you wait"

so in case you didn't get that last phrase then er, Ray meant that he wants Norman to hold him while he waits for the time to come. And by the "time to come" I it kinda means Ray's death. Sorry for the bad explanation.
