Nurse{Fluff}

"You idiot!! You could have have killed yourself!!" Emma shouted, her voice echoing in the room. "Sheesh, I know, I would have died, but it was to save them! Now stop shouting, you're going to break my eardrums." I commented.

So basically, I was told to get the kids because they got lost and accidentally went out of the base. Then when I finally found them after searching for who knows how long, they were getting chased by a wild demon. I hurriedly got them to a safe place then instructed them to get help since I thought there won't be any demons around. Place but I saw Jemima fall and couldn't get back up. I rushed towards her and gently but hard enough to push Jemima off the spot she was in and took her place so now the demon was about to eat me but I heard a gun go off and the demon's core was shot. I turned to see Emma standing there, sweating. She must've rushed here. I, too, was about to stand until a stinging pain brought me back to the previous position I was in. I looked at where the pain was located and saw that I had-

"Ray!!!!!" I heard someone barge into the infirmary with a panicked voice. "I heard you injured your ankle pretty badly?"

Well there's your answer to my question.

"Yeah, not a big deal though.." I rubbed the back of my head. "Are you kidding me right now? You could have died!" "Yeah Ray, and don't even try to deny it, it's your fault you didn't bring a weapon with you even though we advised you to." Gilda spoke up and Don nodded.

"Yeah Ray! You were being stubborn and wanted to die again huh? Is that it?!" Nat and the other kids kept complaining. "H-huh? No that wasn't it! Fine it's my fault okay stop saying I was trying to die again" I huffed in defeat.

Someone coughed and we remembered Norman was here with us.

"right, we should give them some alone time guys. Ray also has to rest." Don informed them. "And Ray don't do that again okay?!" both Emma and Gilda looked at me sternly. "Yes, yes I know. Bye guys, see you later." We waved each other goodbye.

"Right..why are you here again? Aren't you busy?" I looked at Norman. "Well er, when I heard you got injured pretty badly I got worried and couldn't really focus. Vincent noticed this and said maybe I should visit you first, he'll take care of other things.

"After all, he is your boyfriend" was what he said before opening the door for me".

I sat there speechless. "Okay, I guess that makes sense.." was all I could say.

Norman took care of me most of the time, bring me food or spend time with me- though the kids volunteered but Norman refused and insisted that he would take care of me. We're both playing chess right now, but these thoughts made me hold in a laugh.

He looked at me confused, so he asked "why are you laughing?" I looked at him before replying, "its because you're acting like a nurse". I burst out laughing. He widened his eyes before chuckling then look at the me with closed eyes.
