Stupid Monoma!

"Huh? You want me to get you an internship with my father?" Todoroki asked, surprised by my sudden question.

"I know we just met but with my quirk I think working with Endeavor can help me make great progress and he might even be able to help me control my black flames! Please Todoroki." I put my hands together in front of my face as a sign of begging Todoroki to atleast ask his father if it were possible.

"Okay. I'm actually choosing his agency as well, so we can go together." He agreed.

I jumped up and down with joy. "Ah thank you so much you have no idea how much this means to me I owe you one seriously!!" I was so excited I couldn't believe I would be doing a week long internship with the number 2 hero!

After I finished pestering the icyhot boy, Uraraka and Midoriya asked if I wanted to walk back to the dorms together. I agreed and we all started walking down the hallway.

Kinda lucky they asked, what if I had gotten lost again?

"Is that you Shosho?!" Someone called out to me. I was shocked to hear my old nickname be called by someone at a new school. Until I turned around and saw who it was.

"TOMA?!?" I exclaimed completely shocked that one of my old childhood 'friends' was in the same school as me once again.

"Oh, do you guys know each other Monoma?" Midoriya asked with a puzzled look. Uraraka seemed to be wondering the same thing.

"Know each other!? Please, we practically grew up together. This girl was the devil of our neighborhood, she's like our own Bakugou HAHAHA" Monoma said making a cheesy joke.

"Don't compare me to that fool and I'm nothing like him I've changed!" I countered. No way am I going to be compared to him.

"Who the hell is talking about me??" Bakugou came up to us with Kirishima following.

"Mind your own damn business porcupine!" I screamed at him. He just had to come bother us now.

"Bakugou come on let's go!" Kirishima was pulling Bakugou by the arm and trying to get him away from the group. Bakugou reluctantly agreed and only sucked his teeth before leaving for the dorms with Kirishima.

"You called him a stupid nickname, same old Shosho." Monoma provoked. He was pretty annoying.

"SHUT UP YOU DUMB GLORIFIED COPY MACHINE WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING HERE!" I yelled at him, he makes me so angry I want to punch a wall sometimes!

"I'm in the hero course, just like you! Although I hear you got a late start." He snickered, knowing just how to get under my skin.

"They let someone with your shitty quirk in here? I have to laugh." I sucked my teeth at him.

"Wow you really haven't changed at all have you! High school is going to be so fun, see you around Shosho!" Monoma was about to leave when he stopped and looked at me with heavy eyes, "I heard about your parents by the way and I'm-"

Before he could finish I shoved my hand in front is his face and activated my quirk, a small blue flame was almost grazing his nose.

"Say one more word and you'll be nothing but a pile of dust." I threatened.

Monoma put his hands up in defeat and quickly walked away after. I sighed a sigh of relief hoping the two behind me didn't hear anything. I looked back with a sheepish smile and rubbed the back of my neck. The two shrugged off the incident and we continued on our way to the dorms.

When I got back to my room I was practically beat. All in all I think my first day was a success! Well, except for...

That was really bad.. I couldn't even control myself. What would have happened if Mr. Aizawa wasn't there.. Could I have killed everyone.. again?

No, Shoya. We can't think like that. We're moving forward with our life, there's nothing we can do to change the past.

But what the hell was that other voice?! They told Bakugou he was going to die and tried to convince me to use my flames on purpose.. who was that?!

Obsessing about such things won't do me any good. For now I just have to train harder physically and mentally, that way it never happens again.

Next time, I wont be so easily provoked.

I let out a breath as I got off my floor and went to do my nightly routine to get in bed. I took a bath, ate some dinner, brushed my teeth, played some video games, read some manga, and did all my homework.

By the time I was done with everything it was getting a little late, so I plugged in my headphones and decided to go bed, getting ready for another eventful day.
