"Shoya... Why are you doing this..""Please, it's so hot.. it burns."
"HOW DO YOU EXPECT TO SAVE PEOPLE WITH HALF OF YOUR STRENGTH?! DO YOU EVEN WANT TO BE A HERO!"
"STOP!" I woke up panting and drenched in sweat.
It was just a nightmare...?
I thought I had been over what happened today, but I guess I was lying to myself.
How do I expect to be a hero with only half my strength, do I even want to be a hero..
Bakugou's final words before I lost control started to resonate with me, but I couldn't understand why. I hate Bakugou.
why?
"Because he's the reason I'm having these nightmare again." I spoke outloud to no one in particular. As those words left my lips, it felt more like I was trying to force myself to feel that instead of actually feeling that way.
Truth be told, I don't think I hate Bakugou at all.
"uggghhh dammit." I groaned outloud because I already knew these weird thoughts wouldn't stop.
I also groaned because I knew who I had to talk to get them to go away. I picked up my phone and dialed the number.
"This better be important, it's 1 am." The voice said on the other end of the phone.
"Can you meet me in the main courtyard, I had a nightmare." I ignored the obviously rude statement and just continued on with my request.
I was met with silence for what felt like ages, but was merely a few uncomfortable seconds.
"Sure Shosho."
I hung up after getting confirmation and got off my bed to make my way toward the common room, while grabbing a sweater. When I got downstairs I was focused on putting my shoes on and leaving the dorm without making a sound, oblivious to the fact that someone was in the kitchen.
Bakugou's POV
I'm so damn thirsty ugh
I let out a groan as I forced my useless body out of my bed and on my feet.
It's about 1 am and I am so exhausted but I couldn't sleep with the dry taste in my mouth. I had no choice but to go get some water so I could get back to bed as soon as possible.
When I made it to the kitchen area, I opened the cabinet to grab an empty glass and opened the fridge to grab some water.
I was pouring the cold drink into my glass when I heard someone else coming down to the common area. Who else could be up right now?
I turned in the direction of the other room and saw that damn fire ball transfer student with her shoes in hand. I don't think she noticed me, but I noticed her all too well.
The way her, normally down, long black hair was thrown up into two messy buns on the top of her head, the way her charcoal skin sparkled under the moonlight, the way her deep red eyes formed a small moon shape as she fought with her eyelids to remain open, the way her lips are slightly open letting air in as she controls her breathing..
dude what the fuck
I got lost in thought taking in her characteristics while she still hadn't noticed my presence at all. I wasn't sure if I should say something or not, she'd probably just yell at me or something. Whatever I could care less about her anyways.
That's not true.
Yes it is! I tried to apologize for 'going overboard' and she fucking slapped me! I'm not going to bother I already said sorry.
You barely meant it.
"tch, whatever this is so dumb." That wasn't supposed to be said out loud.
Mineha's POV
"tch, whatever this is so dumb."
My head shot up at the sound of a sudden rugged voice while I was putting on my shoes near the entrance to the building. It came from the kitchen, but I didn't see anyone there when I had walked passed it before.
I was contemplating going to check it out or just leaving before whoever was there could see me, but I was too slow as I saw a small tuff of blonde stick out and a boy with a scowl followed right after.
"Bakugou?" I let slip. That was supposed to be more of an internal thought.
Why does he always show up at the WORST times?
My being there didn't surprise him, he must have noticed me when I first got down here.
"Where are you going?" I was waiting for some kind of smirk or comment after that, even a hint of rudeness in the question but there was none. A genuine question had come out of the boy with anger issues and I didn't know if I should actually answer or not.
"Out." Is all I could manage to say. It came out a lot more harsh than I intended, making the blonde frown and turn his head to the side.
"Yeah, whatever. It's none of my business anyways." Without waiting for a response, he turned around and started heading toward the stairs to his floor. With a glass of water in his hand, he brought it up to his lips and took a sip.
I studied his movements as the water entered his mouth and slide down his throat, his adam's apple moving up and down as he swallowed the refreshment.
It looked really attractive.
Wait what?!?
