𝓗𝓮 𝓲𝓼 𝓼𝓹𝓮𝓬𝓲𝓪𝓵 ~𝓟𝓪𝓻𝓽 𝟑~

POV  Bright

A few hours ago:

(Servant) "Wake up dear Prince, breakfast is ready"

By these words I wake up and growl quietly. I definitely don't wanna get out of bed now.

I roll over to the nightstand and grab my phone.

"6:30 a.m.."

A sigh escapes my mouth, I just put my phone away and stare at the ceiling.

"Why do I have to wake up sooo early.. gosh.."

I mumble annoyed, before getting up. While grabbing my clothes, I go to the bathroom and get ready.

After some minutes I come out of the bathroom and pick up my phone. Then walk down to the dining room and sit down at the table.

My gaze wanders around the room until I start playing with my phone so I won't fall asleep again.

I can hear how my father comes into the room and sits down. But I ignore him and just keep staring at my cell phone in hope that he won't talk with me.

"Son .. we're going to go buy some hybrids today."

I growl inwardly and answer uninterestedly.

(B) "I thought you were hunting hybrids, since when have you been buying them? Isn't that boring?"

(B Father) "I know but I have found a very trustworthy dealer in the human world .. Not only does he offer valuable hybrids, he also offers hybrids that have good skills that we can take advantage of!"

I have to hold back myself not to say anything stupid because I hate it when hybrids are being treated as "things". Others just want to use them.. want to take advantage of them.

They are living people like everybody else, but everyone here in the realm of shadows and in the human world treats hybrids like dirt. As if they were born to be slaves or even things..

(B F) "We are going to buy them today, so pack some stuff, it's gonna take long until we'll find the right ones.."

I just nod lightly and start eating.

(B F) "I can't wait to try the blood of these rare hybrids. You have to try it too! It's going to be better than you could ever imagine!!"

I just ignore what he said and keep eating.

As soon as I was done, I got up and went to my apartment, where I put some things in my backpack.

"It will be so boring .. Why do I even have to come with him?! "

I complain quietly and go to the car, in which I sit down and wait for my father and the bodyguards to come.

I'm just gonna sleep until everything is over and I can go home again..

So I close my eyes and surprisingly quick fall asleep.

Some hours later:

After we looked at literally every hybrid, the dealer says that he has a very valuable hybrid, but that it was delivered today and therefore has not completed any training.

He thinks that the hybrid should apparently not be able to do anything and is therefore not worth buying. But my father wants to see him, so we go to the very end of the building.

Where we enter a somewhat dark room and take a quick look around. I immediately notice the cage in the middle of the room in which a figure is sitting. The dealer turns on the light, which shows all the blood on the floor and the torture devices on the table next to the cage.

Shocked about the room I stop and look at the boy in the cage, who is now clearly visible.

What the fuck?! This is how they train them???!!!

I quickly cover my nose as soon as I smell the blood because it smells sooo sweet and..good.....I wouldn't be able to concentrate with this smell in my nose..

(Dealer) "It is a white bunny Hybrid .. I have watched it for a few weeks and noticed that it is one of the few hybrids that cannot hide in a human form. It also has glitter eyes, which is why it is even more expensive than the other hybrids"

(B F) "Can we see its eyes? We won't buy it, if it is blind! It will be of no use for us! Or if it doesn't have the glitter eyes, you promised!"

(D)"Of course. But I can already guarantee that it isn't blind and that it has the glitter eyes."

The man goes to the hybrid and removes the bandage that was covering his eyes.

He slowly opens his eyes and looks at everyone briefly, his gaze then sticks to me. I look at him too and notice his glitter eyes.

(please just imagine the glitter eyes XD)

I've never seen anyone with glitter eyes before. They're so .. magical ..

I'm getting lost in his eyes..

But suddenly he looks at the floor, which pulls me out of my thoughts. I blink quickly and then look at my father, who is literally staring at the boy.

Can he please stop staring?! That poor boy..!

He looks at the dealer and negotiates with him. But I don't listen to the two of them, I just look at the boy.

He is trembling and afraid of this place.. He is different than the others..I want to save him .. Why do I only feel that with him ..? Why don't I feel it with the others ..? Why is he so special to me ..?
