"YEAH!!!! AFTER 3 WEEKS WE ARE IN CALIFORNIA BABY!!!" Terracotta screamed after they landed at the San Diego Secret Air Base 103. Her eyes were bloodshot and bags hung beneath her eyes. Her face was wild, since she had lots of coffee and she was not in her Terracotta mode. Anaconda groaned as he sat Terracotta up on a chair, and went off to get some water.
"Terracotta, get a hold of yourself, I know your glad to be in California but I think you had too much coffee." Anaconda grumbled as he handed the glass of water to Terracotta.
"BUT IM IN CALIFORNIA!!! AFTER 3 WEEKS OF ESCAPING THE ENGLISH SOLDIERS AND BARELY EATING FOR THOSE THREE WEEKS, I AM GLAD ANACONDA!! GLAD!!" Terracotta exclaimed waving her cup of water in the air splashing water at Anaconda. Anaconda face palmed and dragged Terracotta to their temporary guest room while Terracotta continued ranting off about how happy she is in California. Yes Terracotta has a weird silly side and a serious, sad, angry mode. Yeah CRAZY! Anaconda threw Terracotta on the bed and immediately she falls asleep. Anaconda sighs and grabs a chair from the side of the room. It has been 3 weeks since they left Rio. All what he and Terracotta have been doing was telling lies and that was basically all what they did for three whole weeks. After a few hours, Terracotta awoke feeling dizzy, and obviously she was hungry.
"Wha? What happened." She asked sleepily rubbing her tired eyes. Her raven black hair was swept to one side pointing upwards. Ha ha bed head.
"You were screaming how happy you were in being in California while people looked at you thinking you were a crazy person. Awesome job general, great example." Anaconda grumbled as he slowly clapped his hands.
Terracotta groaned and fell back on the bed.
"Thank you for your optimism! You are such a good foster brother Anaconda." Terracotta said sarcastically.
Anaconda chuckled and helped Terracotta to her feet.
"Come on, commander wanted to ask you some "questions"." Anaconda said.
"Oh boy. I hope our lying skills go in handy."
"Tell me about it."
They reached the commander's office and knocked. A loud grumbling and the sound of curses were head through the door and soon the door opened. A short, buff man stood at the entrance with large side burns. He had an annoyed face and his eyebrows were scrunched up angrily.
"WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME YOU HAD A MEETING!!" He screamed as he waved his arms in the air.
"Look commander I know you always want to know everything and before time, make preparations for our visit but this was an emergency." Terracotta confessed putting a hand on his shoulder.
His face softened a little but he still had that angry look plastered on his face. He sighed,
"Come in Terracotta and Anaconda, sorry for my breakout. I usually love to stay ahead of time and have a celebration for you two." He said as he took a seat in his leather hovering armchair.
Terracotta chuckled,
"It's fine. It was an emergency, no harm done, we don't need a celebration every time we visit."
"BUT YOU TWO ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT SOLDIERS IN THE U.S!! OF COURSE YOU TWO NEED A CELEBRATION!!!" The commander cried as he spilled his levitating coffee cup.
He rolled his eyes and clapped his hands and the mess was cleaned up by a small robot who immediately popped up from underneath the table.
"No need commander. It is fine." Anaconda said as his eyes soon became interested in the small robot.
"What did you want to ask us commander?" Terracotta asked soon adjusting herself in the seat.
"Well I wanted to ask about this meeting. Anaconda told me a little bit about it but not the information, he was busy um...dragging you to your bedroom." He said.
A bead of sweat ran down Terracotta's forehead and she gulped, embarrassed.
"Um...heh heh, well this meeting is private. I was told to not tell anyone. I am leaving for Sacramento tomorrow, were the meeting will take place. This is highly restricted and no one should know this information except the commanders of the secret air bases. Understood?" Terracotta lied as sweat ran down her sweaty neck.
The commander nodded.
"Okay, I will have an E-96 hover craft Teleporter by tomorrow. That way you don't have to go through long days of fighting english jets and drinking coffee." He chuckled, giving Terracotta a wide smile and Anaconda a wink.
Anaconda's mind nearly exploded.
"Yus finally I get to use something futuristic! Gosh haven't used things like that since we arrived in Rio." Anaconda thought a silent grin spreading across his face . Rio didn't have anything futuristic, they were old school. But their advantage was their soldiers, they were one of the top fighter groups in South America.
"Thank you Commander i appreciate your help and service." Terracotta said as she stood up and shook his callused hand.
"Anytime Terracotta, it is an honor to see you again." The commander said with a smile.
Anaconda shook his hand and was pulled away by Terracotta to the cafeteria. They sat at a table with a view of the runway, as they ate their ENORMOUS mounds of food. It wasn't Anaconda's idea! All Terracotta's.
"I thought we are going to Oregon?" Anaconda asked as he took a large bite of his dragon-style cheeseburger.
Terracotta face palmed.
"You are really bad at figuring out things. I lied Anaconda, we are actually gonna take the Teleporter ship to Bend, Oregon, so I don't have to go through the hardships of coffee." Terracotta muttered as she shook her head.
Anaconda laughed and continued to eat is lunch. It was getting late and Terracotta already ate about 10 pounds of food, and she says that's her "appetizer". They arrived at their room at 8:00 pm and landed on their beds, falling fast asleep. Terracotta's usual dream continued to play over and over again once her eyes closed. The same yellow dragon in her dream cried in pain as she fell to the ground, the red dragon was on the floor weeping and a blue dragon stood there his head against a wall with a large gash in his chest. The same crackling voice Terracotta always heard laughed at Terracotta evilly saying those words again
"Terracotta one day, all your loved ones will fall, and you will have no one except your dead body." Then an image of her dead father stood before her. His face was just the same as she last saw him and those bullets were still there on his chest. Then the voice crackled again and a claw spurting loads of electricity zoomed towards Terracotta. Terracotta awoke screaming as cold sweat ran down her forehead. She broke down and sobbed quietly the image of her dead father still in her mind.
"Daddy. I miss you daddy..."
