Y/n POV EIGHT MONTHS LATER
I walk into an empty bedroom and put the big box down.
"Emily!" I yell.
"Yes, sweetheart?" She walks into the room.
"My back really hurts." I sit down on the box and show my little baby bump. She smiles.
"She's growing!" She said lightly patting my belly.
"How do you know it's a she? What if it's a boy?" I say.
"Uh, because I am an expert at this thing? A long time ago, when JJ was pregnant, I predicted it was gonna be a boy. Sure enough, it's a boy!" She says smugly. "Think of it as, my sixth sense. It's gonna be a girl."
"I am willing to bet on it. 50 says it's a boy." She smiles.
"Deal."
We hear a knock at the door of our new house. "I'll get it," Emily said. "It's probably the moving people. Or your Dad. Whichever fits."
I get up from the box I was sitting on and I open the box. I take out my box of jewelry and put it on the dresser that my dad put before we moved.
"Hey em?" I yell
"Yes?"
"I think I want this to be the baby's room. It's a cute little room and I think he would feel homey in here."
"SHE, and sure. When we see what the gender is, I will paint the room whatever color you desire. Hold on.. the moving guy is coming in."
I sit on the floor and pull out my phone. I open the text messages and see JJ. I open it.
JJ: Hey y/n, I got some baby clothes, some for a girl, some for a boy, let me know what the gender is so I can give them to you
Me: Thanks, JJ, you're the best. We are going next week to see the gender, and I would throw away the girl clothes because I have a boy inside of me.
JJ: Whatever you say, m'lady. I remember thinking it was a girl when I was pregnant the first time.
I put my phone away as Emily walks in.
"They helped me put our bed in our room, so if you want, you can go sit on that. Your dad is coming over to help me any way so you won't really be needed." She says smiling.
"First, ow, second, thanks, babe," I say.
One week later.
"This is going to be cold, okay?" The OB said.
She put the cold gel on my belly and starts to look at the peanut inside of me. I can hear Emily whisper in my ear that it's gonna be a girl.
I roll my eyes.
I see the OB smile. "Are you ready to see the gender?"
"Yes," Emily says, "It's a girl, right?"
"See for yourself." She said turning on the projector so we can see the gender.
I smile as I see the gender of my unborn baby.
I cherish the thought of knowing what color to paint my baby's bedroom and what toys to get it.
1 month later
I wake up to kisses on my cheek.
"Ugh, I'm sleeping." I moan.
"Happy 4 months of pregnancy," She whispers in my ear.
I smile. "Yay," I say with as much enthusiasm as a sleepy person can.
She turns me around and kisses me. "I have to pee," I say.
She groans and sets off of me. I take off the covers to reveal my big fat belly. I get up and walk towards the bathroom.
I close the door and sit on the toilet.
A few minutes go by and I feel something come out of my body, and it is thick.
I look down to see blood.
"Emily?!" I yell.
She comes in. "Yes?"
"There's blood in here."
