Chapter 22

Ink's pov

I sit in the crowded planning room cleaning broomie and listening in on his majesty's plans of attack. Tch, just wait they'll see that I'm the true hero here.
Blue, dream,and cross come and go often, probably visiting princess Lana and talking about that baby in her. It won't be there for long. I'll make sure of that.
I'm the only one that can save them, save Lana from the evil growing in her. Don't worry I'll save all of you.

Third POV.

Chara, Asriel, Asgore, Blue, Dream and Cross have been taking turns visiting and spending time with Lana (they be taking a break from all the fighting but they'll never admit it lol). Dream and Cross have spent more time with her than anyone else because not only is the baby dreams niece or nephew but because Dream is worried about Lana. The rest of them come up with this plan: they get all of their soldiers ready and March towards Nightmare's palace attacking at dawn when their guard is down, ending this once and for all. Sans and Papyrus will stay at the castle and protect Lana and her cousins from any attacks. With all in agreement they go prepare for their final battle

Nightmare's POV.

I've recovered from my last defeat and have been planning an attack on the Royal Family to get my bunny back. Assuming that they'll likely bring the fight to us we'll work on defense rather than offense. If they do attack first they'll be leaving their castle and bunny alone with those weak guards. So I'll send a small unit of one or two monsters to retrieve bunny while I slaughter her people and family, destroying whatever hope she has left.

Don't worry bunny you'll be home soon~

Lana's POV.

It's been a few weeks everyone's on edge and I've been allowed a little more freedom. Thank Asgore it was annoying staying in my room all the time. Though it wasn't all bad, I was never really alone. Dream and Cross visit me often along with everyone else. I haven't seen ink since I've returned. He doesn't come by, it's like he's angry that I'm back. Oh well, I'll stop by and say hi to him later. I sigh and put down my book, not like I was reading it, and get up heading towards the door with sans following close by.

"Where are we headed my lady?" Sans walks close to me just in case.

"Just a walk around and to see how everyone in the study is doing. They've been in there for days on end." I answer enjoying the fresh air and freedom from my room. We pass by many guards and maids busy as ever.

"Let's take a short detour to the kitchen and bring them all tea, what do you think sans?" I change my direction and walk towards the kitchen.
sans nods, "of course my lady, I'm sure they'll all enjoy a relaxing cup of tea."
I giggle, " Let's hope it relaxes them enough to sleep, I've been told they haven't had much of it as of late."

I get a nod from sans and we get to work making some Chamomile tea, preparing two trays with tea pots and cups on each, and making some cookies for them to snack on. Sans tries to do everything but I refuse to let him, just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean I'm helpless. Once everything is ready we grab our trays and head off to the study. I get one of the maids to open the door to let us in.

"Excuse us everyone, but we brought tea and cookies. Why don't you take a small break and relax for a bit?" I hold up my tray smiling at them.

My tray is taken by Uncle Azzy and set on the table along with sans's tray, they all look exhausted and thankful for the break I brought them. While they were drinking their tea and eating the cookies I noticed how ink states in the corner cleaning his brush and glaring at everyone especially me. Uncomfortable by his staring I give everyone hugs and kisses on the cheek and excuse myself quickly, sans close behind. Once we were a good distance away I stopped and looked at sans.

"Sans let's keep an eye on ink, I have a feeling he's up to something. Maybe one of the other three might know something. For now let's head back to my room and come up with a plan just in case."

Sans bows his head, "as you wish my lady, I'll have Dream, Blue, and Cross come by later so you may talk with them."

"Good, let's go. There's a big battle coming and we need to be prepared for it." We walk to my room and once inside start making a plan of our own.

I won't be unprepared this time. No one will dare underestimate me.
