4. Just talk

Caleb pov:
So miss Jane looked at me once she got home.
"What on earth happend to you?" she asked and she seemed quite worried.
"It's nothing..." I muttered and miss Jane looked at mr. Hook.
"Hey, I didn't beat him!" mr. Hook said defensive and I kinda wanted to laugh becasue the fact that miss Jane thought he would.
Miss Jane looked at me.
"How did you get that?" 
"Just an ordinary monday."
"This happens every monday to you?!" miss Jane said a bit shocked and I looked at the ground.
"And every wednessday and friday."
Miss Jane looked at me.
"And why is that?"
"Don't bother." I said and I returned to my room.

"He didn't want to talk to me either." I heared mr. Hook saying.
"He goes to Auradon prep, right? Then my mom is one of his teachers... She must now something about this right? This isn't normal." Miss Jane said.
"Jane, calm down a bit. We can't push him to tell us stuff. We have to be patience."
"Patience while he gets beat up everytime?!"
"Jane, please. That kid just got in a new family and he's been in many families. Give him some time."
"But this isn't right."
"He has no faith. We need to be patience Jane... Like you were the first time we met. I came in a total different world. It took time. It is going to take some time with him too."
"You're probably right..."
Huh... Mr. Hook actually wanted to give me a chance...
I even got a lump in my throat and felt weird... Like they accepted me...

I wanted to leave my room and opend the door, seeing that Zoe was about to knock on my door.
"Why were mom and dad arguing about you?" she asked softly and I kneeled so I was about the same height as her.
"Because your mom wants to help me with my school issue but you're dad doesn't want to push me of telling stuff."
"So they both want to be there for you?"
"Just like they're always there for you and your sisters."
Zoe hugged me and I lost my balance and fell backwards.
I grinned a bit.
"Nice going, you shout try out for the turney team once you're going to Auradon prep."
"Isn't that a boy sport?"
"Fenching was too, but then the daughter of Mulan joined. If you really want to accomplish something, just go for it. Everything is possible."
"Really?"
"As long as you believe in it."
"You really think so?"
I nodded and Zoe smiled as she left my room.

So miss Jane looked at me later that evening.
"How is your eye?"
"Good." was all I said.
"Are you sure?"
"Jane." mr. Hook said and miss Jane sighed.
"I'm doing it again huh?"
"It's fine..." I muttered.
Zoe looked at me and she smiled.
"Hey dad, how much longer untill we can go to Auradon prep too?"
"Two years." Lynn said and Quinn grinned.
"I thought she asked dad."
Mr. Hook grinned too and looked at Zoe.
"Why are you so curious about that now?"
I knew exactly why and I grinned softly.
"Sounds like he knows why." Chloe said and miss Jane looked at me.
"What's going on here?" she asked with a sly smile.
"Let's say Caleb is the best big brother ever!" Zoe said and I looked at her in suprise.
"What...?" 
Zoe smiled a lot and Quinn nodded.
"Can't argue with that."
I thought I even smiled a bit and mr. Hook locked eyes with miss Jane.
Mabey being part of this family actually was something good.

So the next day was kinda fun, the girls really seemed to like me but miss Jane wouldn't let me go to school that day because of what happend the day before. 
Mr. Hook brought the girls to school and miss Jane looked at me.
"Your eye is getting it's natural color again."
"Yea... That's why he'll beat me up tomorrow again..."
"How can you live like that? Do the teachers don't say anything about it or something?"
"Miss Jane, it's fine. It's been like that ever since they knew I'm an orphan."
"You're not anymore..."
I sighed.
"I know... It's just..."
"No one has faith in you?"
"Yea..."
"Well believe it or not but all six of us do."
"Really?" 
She lifted my chin.
"Your part of this family now. And no one will take you away from us."
"I will." this pruple woman said and she looked at me withe glowing green eyes.
Miss Jane stood in front of my.
"You." she sissed with anger.
"Hello Jane. Now step aside so I can kill him." miss purple said.
"You're not gonna hurt him. Over my dead body."
"Pleasure." and that woman did something and miss Jane just collapsed in front of me.
Then I heared the front door.
"Jane, Caleb, I'm back." mr. Hook said.
Lady purple looked at me.
"I'll come back for you." and she just disapeared.
I kneeled next to miss Jane and looked at her.
"Miss Jane? Miss Jane?" she didn't respond and I looked up.
"Mr. Hook!" I yelled as hard as I could.
