Harry pov:
The girls looked at me.
"Is Caleb going to die?" Zoe asked.
I looked at her.
"What? No! He is going to be okay. I promise."
"You also promised that things were going to be okay when they wanted to take Caleb away..." Lynn said and I sighed.
"That was a different situation... Look, I'll text aunt Cj to see if she wants to keep an eye on you three okay? This could take a while and you don't want to stay in this boring hospital do you?"
They shoke their heads and I sended Cj a wuick text.
"She'll be here in five minutes. Come then I'll walk with you to the parking lot. Okay?"
They nodded and Wendy looked at Peter for a shot moment.

Cj looked at me.
"What's going on?"
"Caleb got an allergy attack, he was lucky that we were at the lake as well... His parents didn't even know about his allergy."
"Oh my god, is he okay?"
The girls looked at me with worries in their eyes and I looked at Cj.
"He will be. They stabilised him right now. But this will take a while. So thanks for watching the girls for a moment."
"It's fine. I like spending times with my nieces."
"We like spending time with you too aunt Cj." Chloe said.
The girls gave me a quick hug and I walked back inside.

Peter looked at me.
"Isn't it hard raising three kids on your own?"
"I had a short period that I was raising five ob my own. I can handle it."
"You are really good with them." Wendy said and I looked at her.
"Of course. I'm their dad after all."
"That you can handle it doesn't mean it isn't hard." Peter said and I looked at him.
"It is hard. That they can't grow up with their mom. And that they lost their sister... and brother." I said and Peter kept silent.
Wendy looked at me.
"We do owe you an apology... If it wasn't for you, Caleb would've died..."
"Don't thank me yet. Let's first see if he even wakes up." I said coldly and Peter looked at me.
"Really? Even an apology is an attack to you isn't it?!"
"I'm just saying that there is still a chance he doesn't wake up!" I said and both of us were just worried sick and got frustrated.
"I need some fresh air..." Peter said and he walked outside.
I sighed ans Wendy looked at me.
"For a single dad of three daughterz you're doing a great job. And I meant what I said. Thank you for helping us with Caleb... I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if he died because of an allergy attack..."
"You didn't know. It ain't your fault."
"But I'm his mother. I should've known."
"I wasn't really honest earlier. You couldn't know."
"What do you mean?"
"Caleb told me he found out when he was eight... I assumed he would've told you..."
Wendy looked at me and sighed.
"Goblins..."
"I'm sorry... I should've told you like a responsible parent would've done..."
"You are a responsible parent, because you told me the truth."
"Mom! Caleb is awake." Cassandra said and we looked up.
"Really?" Wendy said and Cassandra nodded.
Peter just walked in again too.

Zack was there with Caleb.
"You're assigned to him again?" Cassandra asked and Zack nodded.
"You're not allowed to since he is your twin, they figured that you trust me..."
Caleb had this breathing tube in his mouth and he looked up.
"It's okay honey... You're okay..." Wendy said as she sat down next to him and took his hand.
"It's okay son." Peter said.
"Thank god you're okay kid..." I said and Caleb looked at me for a moment as he shove something (which was under his hand) to me.
I looked at him.
Wendy took it from under his hand and gave it to me.
"It's obvious it's meant to you."
It was Jane's wedding ring with a small note.
"You lost this once... I forgot to return it..." I read as I had the ring in my hand.
I looked at Caleb and smiled softly.
"Thanks kid, that means the world to me..."
I saw he smiled a little and I squeezed his hand softly.
Peter sat down next to Caleb as well and I sighed.
"I should probably go back to my daughters... I'll see you again kid..." I said as I walked to the hallway with Jane's ring clutched in my hand.

I was almost outside as I heared a voice.
"Hook, wait up."
I turned and saw Peter walking to me.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Last night Wendy and I talked a while and today only proved her point..."
"What point?"
"That Caleb needs you. You know him better then us and you jist saved his life. If you weren't there..."
"Caleb wouldn't be here..."
"Yea, that."
"So what is the use of this 'point' of Wendy."
"She- We think it would be better for Caleb is he'd go live with you again..."
"That's why you asked if it wasn't hard..." I muttered.
"Yea... I was hoping you'd say it was so..."
"You could convince Wendy to keep Caleb..."
"Yea, but Caleb was right. You are his father."
"You're being serious...?"
"Well yea..."
He sighed and looked away.
"But you don't like the idea on your own, do you?" I asked.
"I worked so hard to get my son back... Can you blame me? Wendy and I just want the best for him."
I looked at Peter.
"No matter what Caleb says, you two will always be his parents. He cares about you. He just wish you'd reached out for him sooner..."
"And I don't blame him." Peter said.
"How long do you think it takes before he gets doscharged?" I asked.
"Maybe a week or two... Depends on."
"When he gets that thing out of his mouth, you should just talk to him for a bit. Maybe he'll understand why you and Wendy didn't reach out for him sooner."
"What are you talking about?"
"Maybe he's going to accept the fact that you two are still alive and that you are his parents."
"You're trying to make sure he'll give us another chance?"
"Every parents deserves to be with their kid. The kid just need to decide what he wants. Because I can tell he's doubting what to do."
"You think so?"
"I know so. I've been in a situation like he is right now. I lost my parents once too... I just relied on my sisters, like he did with Cassandra... He had the luck of finding a new family who loved him... The three of us just had to deal with life on our own... Then our mom appeared to be still alive... Just like you and Wendy... I'm already glad that this kid has people who care about him. If it's you or me. I wouldn't care. As long as the kid has a home where he is loved."
Peter looked at me.
"Damn... I really misjudged you Hook..."
"You're not the first person." I said and Peter grinned a bit.
"Wanna come back for a moment or are you returning to your daughters?"
"I owe my daughters an explanation of the situation. My number is in Caleb's phone, just keep me updated for now. Okay?"
"I will."
