"i can't believe your single drops tomorrow," Theo licked his spoonful of peanut butter while Luna glanced back at him from the living room couch.
"yeah, how are you not freaking out yet?" Oliver looked up from his place on Luna's lap as she shrugged and lightly played with his hair.
"i guess it just hasn't settled in for me that it's being released plus i was busy taking care of Stella and Raiden..." Luna drifted off before she looked down at Oliver who stuck his tongue out at her when she stopped running her hands through his hair.
"yeah, i'm glad Juliet feels better and we were able to pick up the kids."
it was silent for a couple of minutes before Luna spoke up and began to braid tiny little braids in Oliver's hair.
"you know, i've been debating if i should show you guys my song before i release it tomorrow."
almost immediately, Theo and Oliver are both begging Luna on the couch to let them hear it. after a while of hearing them beg, Luna gave in.
"Ollie, hand me my phone," Luna sighed and quickly searched her notes before setting it down in the middle of the coffee table.
"you guys ready?"
"yes!"
"play it already!"
Luna smiles before she clicked play and her new single, "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored," played. she carefully watched their expressions as her voice came on and bit down in her lip in fear that they wouldn't like it.
after patiently waiting for a while, Luna stood up and made her way into the pantry. she grabbed her regular snack and made her way back down as the song was coming to an end.
Theo, without asking, reached his hand into her snack bag causing her to slap his hand away.
"watch yourself bitch."
"yeah bitch," Oliver reached his hand in and Luna allowed it as a Theo scoffed and pointed to his hand.
"we're married," Oliver gave him a toothy smile as Luna shrugged and leaned into the arm he wrapped around her.
"he's not wrong—but that's aside the point, what do you guys think?"
"it's really good," Oliver squeezed her shoulder while Theo nodded his head in agreement.
