"why the fuck did we agree to this again?" Luna shivers as Theo pulls out of the car rental location.
"i don't know but can you please shut the fuck up?" Oliver puts his head back down into his heads as he counts to a hundred.
"he still doesn't feel any better?" Theo speaks quietly as turns his head to look at Oliver.
unlike Theo and Luna, Oliver got horrible motion sickness and was in the constant state between nausea and actually vomiting whenever he traveled away from home.
"no, it got worse," Luna whispers silently as she looks around the streets of North Carolina.
she had texted Karl a couple of minutes ago and had yet to receive a response as Theo pulled into the airbnb's driveway in what they were going to be presumably staying in.
Oliver lets out a groan as he gets out of the car and slowly walks towards the trunk.
"i got it, you go head inside," Luna pats him on the back and he sends her a thankful look.
she watches as he enters the house while Theo calls the owners to let them know that they had arrived. Luna opens the trunk of the car and begins to pull out Theo's luggage.
out of the three of them, he always packed the lightest but was heavily surprised when she had difficulty lifting his bags.
a car honks behind her and makes her jump in fright while a hand comes into contact with hers.
"hey, let me help you with those."
her eyes widen as she finds herself looking at a mask-covered Karl and a laughing passenger seat Alexis.
"oh, fuck you!" Luna holds her chest as she steps forward to smack Alexis through the car window.
Luckily, he raises his window up in time for Luna to grumpily cross her arms in defeat, "holy shit! you're so fucking short!"
Luna rolls her eyes as she flips him off and heads back to help Karl grab a suitcase.
"thanks Karl," she quietly speaks to him as he turns towards her with open arms.
she looks at him confused as Theo and Oliver laugh loudly from outside the door. Oliver gags mid laugh and covers his mouth as he runs back into the house.
