Okay so we're gonna start this list with some shipping wars from the Pokémon fandom. I like to think of both of these ships as canon (Misty hates it when someone else flirts with Ash and Serena literally kisses Ash as well as having a VERY obvious crush). One thing that boosts this shipping war is the fact that May and Dawn are shipped with other characters (mainly Drew x May and Paul/Barry/Kenny x Dawn) while no one likes Iris (despite her being a common - not popular - candidate for the extended shipping wars), the Alola gang is hardly ever included in the extended shipping wars and all other characters are either too minor (eg Anabel) or won't get shipped with Ash commonly because it would be gay (eg Goh). Either way, these two are the most common choices (closely followed by Dawn).
I used to be an AmourShipper but I kinda dumped it in favour of gayer ships.

Amour - 8/10 - I used to like this a lot more and I guess it's one of my favourite straight ships but as I mentioned above, I don't ship it that much because I prefer yuri ships
There is actually a ship where we can get the best (if you want to see Serena and Misty get romantic partners)/worst (if you want Ash to end up with a girl) of both worlds. Someone has dubbed it ChampsElyseeShipping (no idea where the name came from though). This is of course the ship between Misty and Serena
ChampsElyseeShipping - 10/10 I love shipping characters with a common love interest with each other rather than the love interest themself especially seeing as it usually ends up being a yuri after you do that lol
