Best Part 3/3

A week has passed.
"What is that smell?" Win asks while covering his nose
"Maybe, this yellow curry that I'm eating." Mix says
"Put that away from me." Win says, still covering his nose
First smells the yellow curry
"It doesn't have that strong smell." First says
"Just get another food, Mix." Win says
"I'll go with you." First says
And they left
"Win, let me be frank with you, are you pregnant?" Khaotung asks
"What?" Win widens his eyes
"Your time of heat already passed, right?" He asks And Win slowly nodded
"When does it happen again? Every?" Khaotung asks
"Every 17th of the month." Win responds
"Same as Bright." Win added
"Shit, we went to a bar last Saturday and it's Monday today ..." Khaotung trails off
"Mix, what's the date today?" Khaotung asks when First and Mix got back into their table
"January 26." Mix answers
"Shit." Khaotung curses
"Calm down, I don't even remember I went near any alpha that night." Win says
"You went near two alphas that night, Win." First says
"No, shit." Win reacted
"You danced with Dew and Bright took you home." Mix says
"What? Bright took me home?" Win asks in pure disbelief
"Yeah, he was dragging your ass out of the bar." First chuckles
"Why did you let him? Gosh, you know it was not safe for me." Win lets out a heavy deep breath
"If you could just see Bright's serious face that night, you wouldn't dare to stop him yourself." Khaotung says
"Did something happen between the two of you that night?" First asks
"I don't know but I woke up and felt my butt and hips really sore." Win responds
"Confirmed, Win, something happened between the two of you." Mix nodded
"And you might be having his child now." Khaotung added
Win stops breathing for a moment

"I felt bad, guys, I took advantage of him." Bright says.
"Bright, don't blame yourself because it was also your time of rut." Podd says
"Well, what did Win say?" Fluke asks
"He doesn't remember what happened." Bright says
"I think that's natural." Earth nodded
"What if you got him pregnant?" Podd asks
"Then I'll take full responsibility of them. I won't be a coward and run away." Bright answers without hesitation
"The real question is, will Win let him know that?" Earth asks
"That's where we're not sure." Fluke responds
"Just be aware, bro, be cautious around Win." Earth says
Bright nodded

Bright is now dropping Win off in his dorm.
He parks outside of Win's dorm
"Bun." Bright starts the conversation
Win looks at him
"Can I ask a favor?" Bright asks
"What is it?" Win asks in a low tone.
"If there's anything that bothers you, or whatever concerns you have, tell me all of it." Bright says
Win nodded
Then Win looks away
"Want me to stay with you tonight?" Bright asks, causing Win to look at him again
"No, no, I'm fine, thank you." Win gives him a small smile
"Okay, rest well, my bun." Bright says and gently caresses Win's hair
"Drive safely." Win says before getting out of Bright's car

After Bright left, Win's friends immediately goes to his dorm.
"Here, we bought three pregnancy tests for it to be more sure." Mix says and hands the three pregnancy tests to Win
"Go to the bathroom now." Khaotung says
Win goes to the bathroom and pees
He uses the three pregnancy tests at the same time
Then he leaves the bathroom and lays out the three pregnancy tests on the coffee table
They are patiently waiting for it

Let it all be just one line, please.

Win silently prays with his eyes closed.
"Oh, shit." First curses
"Win." Khaotung pokes him
Win slowly opens his eyes
"No fucking way." Win whispers, seeing the results
It all has double lines
He didn't realize that he's already crying
"Win, it'll be okay." Mix says and gives him a side hug
"We'll be with you through this." Fix says and kneels in front of Win
Win cries
"Hey, hush now." Khaotung also gives him a side hug
"How will I tell Bright? I'm scared of what his reaction might be." Win says in between sobs
"You know Bright more than we do." First says
"Yeah, and it will not be that bad." Mix says
"And if he doesn't want to be the father, who cares? We're here." Khaotung says
"Thank you, guys." Win gives them a small smile

That night, Win couldn't sleep.
He fell asleep right exactly 4 in the morning that's why he didn't manage to go to school.
"Where's Win?" Bright asks Win's friends
"We've been calling him but he's not answering." Mix answers
"Shit." Bright curses
"I'll go to him." Bright says and turns his back on them
"Bright, wait." Khaotung says and Bright faces them again
"Don't leave Win, no matter what happens." Khaotung says
"That's what I intend to do." Bright says, causing Win's friends to smile

Bright reaches Win's dorm.
"Win?" He calls out while knocking
After a few more knocks, Win's still not answering
Bright puts out his spare key of Win's dorm and inserts it in the key hole
"Bun?" He calls out again while entering Win's dorm and closes the door
Then he saw him peacefully sleeping on the bed
He slowly sits beside Win
Bright notices the dark circles under Win's eyes
"Why did you stay up so late?" Bright mutters, he gently caresses Win's cheek
Win groans and slowly opens his eyes
"Hey, bun, I'm sorry to wake you up. Go back to sleep." Bright gives him an assuring smile
Win moves to have a space for Bright and opens his arms
"You want me to lay down?" Bright asks
Win nodded with a pout

Damn it, stop being so cute.

Bright thought.
He removes his shoes and gets in the same comforter as Win
Win immediately hugs him
Bright quietly chuckles and hugs Win back
"Sleep well, bun." Bright whispers and gently caresses Win's hair

Bright wakes up first than Win.
He glances at the digital clock on the nightstand.

12:46 PM

Bright carefully pulls himself away from Win.
"Hey." Win groans
"Bun, it's almost 1 in the afternoon and we still haven't eaten lunch yet." Bright quietly chuckles
"Wait." Win says and gets something from the drawer of the nightstand
Win wrapped one box of the pregnancy test with a gold gift wrap, it also has a ribbon
"What's this?" Bright asks while accepting it
"Open it to find out." Win says and sits up
He bites his lip when he starts to feel nervous
Bright sits as well and opens his gift
Bright widens his eyes, seeing what it is
Then he looks at Win
"Bun, ..." Bright mutters
"I'm pregnant, Bright, and you are the father." Win says
Bright still can't process it
Win was about to stand up but Bright quickly stops him and hugs him
"Oh my God, bun." Bright says, closing his eyes and let his tears drops
"Are you crying?" Win quietly chuckles, he was about to pull away but Bright just hug. him tighter
"Thank you for letting me know." Bright says
And they pulled away
Win wipes his tears using his two thumbs
"I know, you'll be a good even a great father, Bright." Win says
"I'll take a really good care of the two of you." Bright says and kisses Win's forehead
"I love you, bun." Bright says
Win slowly smiles
"I love you too, Brighty." Win says and Bright claims his lips

~ AFTER THREE YEARS ~

They're now living in a two-story house.
They are also married now
"Summer, Rain!" Win calls out while walking down the stairs
Yes, they had twins, one boy and one girl
They decided to name the girl Summer, because that's Bright's favorite season and it's just exact for Bright's name and as for the boy, they named him Rain because that's Win's favorite weather
"Papa!" Summer runs into him
"Hey, sweetie, where's Rain and your daddy?" Win asks
"They are in the backyard." Summer responds and she drags him to the backyard
They reached the backyard and saw Bright and Rain are playing
"Hey, take a break first." Win says to them
"There are already some snacks and orange juice in the kitchen." Win added
Rain and Summer excitedly goes to the kitchen
Win was about to go back inside their house when Bright hugs him from behind
"What?" Win asks and gives him a side look
"Rain keeps asking me if when we will give them another sibling, bun." Bright says with a smile
Win shakes his head in amusement
"Does our son really keeps asking about that or it's just you?" Win asks
"Well, the both of us." Bright responds, causing Win to laugh
He faces Bright and wraps his arms around his neck
"Let's make them grow one year more." Win says
"Till then, we should't do it." Win says and presses Bright's nose with his index finger
Win pulls away from Bright and starts to walk back inside their house
Bright slightly widens his eyes.
"But, bun!" Bright protests and follows his husband
Win just lets out a hearty laugh.
