Better Together 2/2

There's only one month left till being a 2nd year college student is done for Win.
"I heard Ms. Pam is pregnant." Pluem heard as he entered their department's building
Then he met JJ in the middle of the hallway and they have the same expression
"Could it be?" JJ asks Pluem
"Please, not." Pluem shakes his head

Ms. Pam enters their room and receives some gasps from the students.
"Mrs. Trina couldn't make it for today, class. I'll be teaching you just for this day." Ms. Pam said as she put her things on the table
"Oh, great." Win mutters
"Ms. Pam keeps on stealing glances at you." Khaotung whispers
"Why would she?" Win whispers back and he catches Ms. Pam is looking at him
Then she simply rolls her eyes at him

The nerve!

Win thought.
All of a sudden, Ms. Pam phone rings
She's smiling as she got her phone from the table
"Just a minute, class." She says then answers the call
"Yes, Bright?" Ms. Pam even emphasizes Bright's name
That catches Win's attention
Win is sure that she did it intentionally
"I heard she and sir Bright are together." Win heard his classmate in front of him said to her friend
"Well, I even heard that Ms. Pam is pregnant." Her friend says
Win catches his breath
"Those ears can get you into trouble one day. Just saying." JJ said that made the two girls shut their mouths
"Just ignore what they said, Win." JJ whispers
"So, it's true? She's pregnant?" Win breathlessly whispers back
"She might be but we may never know who's the father of her baby." Khaotung says
"But rest assurred. It's not sir Bright." Pluem whispers but Win is still bothered
And seeing Ms. Pam has a wide smile on her face when she comes back in the room just makes it more worst for Win

Win let his friends went home without him.
He made his way into Bright's office and he was about to open the door but he heard voices inside
"I'm sure, Bright!" Ms. Pam yells
Win startles and continues to eavesdrop
"That was already a long time ago, Pam." Bright sternly says
"I just found out now." Pam says
"Can't be." Bright shakes his head
"I never been with any man after you." Pam says
Win stiffens and catches his breath
"Bullshit." Bright grits his teeth
"Don't lie to me and don't you dare claim that I'm that baby's father when I'm not." Bright firmly says
Win covered his mouth as his body started to shake
"It's you, Bright! And if being with that Win makes you hard to accept it then I'll do anything to tear you away from him." Pam's voice was full of firmness
"Don't include him into this. Leave him the fuck alone!" Bright slightly raises his voice

So, he's accepting the baby?

Win thought.
There's a lot of questions in Win's mind right now and he didn't even realize that Bright opened the door
Bright widens his eyes when he sees Win
"Baby." Bright utters
Win shook his head at Bright as his tears dropped
He quickly turns his back and runs way
Bright catches up with him and hugs him
"It's not mine. I swear." Bright says
He uses all of his strenght to get out from Bright's hug
Win faces him
"When?" Win asks and Bright knew what he meant
"Before we became together." Bright answers
Win lets out a heavy deep breath and then cries
He stops Bright from coming near him
"Why didn't you tell me?!" Win raises his voice
"It didn't matter to me." Bright answers
"Look where did it get us!" Win says in between sobs
Then Pam reaches them
"He's the father, Win. Now that you know, I hope you're not that selfish to keep Bright away from his child." Pam says
Win feels his heart is getting squeezed tighter and tighter
Win gives Bright a hard glare before leaving

"Are you sure he's really the father?" His mom asked him as she kept him in her arms
Win cried and nodded
"Did he admit it?" His mom asks and Win shakes his head
"But my guts is telling me that he is the father." Win says
"Hush now, my baby." His mom says while caressing his back
Win pulls away and wipes his cheeks
"I'll finish my college in the States, ma." Win says
"Son, think this through first." His mom says
"Won't you gonna talk to him?" His mom asks and he shakes his head
"If he ever tries to see me, don't let him, mom, please." Win begged and his mom nodded
