"Win, son, why don't you just ride with Bright?" His stepmother asks.
"I'm fine, ma, my friend will pick me up." Win says
"That would be an inconvenience for your friend, dear." She says
Then as if on cue, Bright walks down the stairs all ready for school
"Hey, son, Win will ride with you and if your schedule doesn't conflict with each other's, head back home together." She even points her index finger at Bright
"Mom, —"
"Laters, my sons!" She waves her hand and leaves the house
Win stands up from the sofa
"You don't need to do what ma said." Win says
"And then what? I'll be dead to her? I don't want that." Bright says and gets out of the house
Win locks the house and follows him to the garage
He sits in the backseat
"What am I? Your driver?" Bright sarcastically asks
while looking at Win through the rearview mirror

What an ass.

Win rolls his eyes while getting out of Bright's black BMW and sits on the passenger seat.

Bright pulls over at the bus stop across their school.
Win gives him a confused look.
"Get out." Bright says
"I don't want to be the hot topic in our university.
I got a reputation to take care of." Bright says without looking at him
Win looks at him in pure disbelief
"Get out." Bright says again
Win unfastens the seatbelt and opens the car's door
"Thanks for the ride but never again, asshole." Win says and gets out
He slams the car's door
Bright enters their university
Win groans and lets out a heavy deep breath to calm himself
Win crosses the road without looking left and ride that's why he didn't notice a car is gonna pass by
The driver of the car immediately presses the brake and he thought his car bumps against Win because he saw Win fell down
But the truth is, Win just tripped because he didn't notice a big rock on his way

Can this day get any more worse?

Win thought.
And he stands up
He got his sleeves rolled up that's why his right elbow got a scratch now
"Ah, shit." He curses under his breath
"Uhm, are you okay? I'm so sorry. Come on,
I'll take you to the hospital." Dew says and approaches Win
"It was my fault because I didn't look where I'm heading and no worries, your car didn't bump or even touched me." Win gives Dew a smile
"Come on, I'll just take you to the clinic." Dew says and opens the car's door for Win
Win looks at him first before getting in
They entered the school
Dew parks his car of course, in the parking lot

They just got out of the clinic when Win's phone rings.

ATP

"Hello?" Win answers the call.
"Where are you? We're all here in our classroom." Gun says
"I just got out of the clinic." Win says
"What? What happened to you?" Gun reacted
"I'll tell you when I get there. I'm on my way." Win says
"Alright." Gun says and ends the call
"Where's your room? I'll drop you off." Dew offers
"I'm fine, Dew, you can head to your class now." Win says with a smile
They introduced themselves when they were in the clinic
"I still got time, Win, it will be fine." Dew says
"Alright then." Win nodded
They walked pass Bright's room
"Hey, Off, is that your brother?" Podd asks
And they all looked outside
Bright raises his eyebrow when he saw Win with Dew
Bright also saw the gauze on Win's right elbow

What the hell happened to him?

He thought.
"Uhm, yeah, who is he with?" Off asks, he immediately goes out and follows his brother.

After a while, Off comes back.
"So, who is he with?" Film asks
"That's Win, he just helped him. Win tripped over a big rock when he was about to cross the road and then Dew was gonna pass by. Good thing, Dew quickly pressed the brake." Off answers
"Gosh, he went through that much? Poor him." Film says
"I may be the reason why he went through all that." Bright says, catching all of his friends' attentions
"Win is my stepbrother and mom insisted that we should go to school together and I dropped him off at the bus stop because I don't want us to be the hot topic in our university and I think I went too harsh on him?" Bright says
His friends are just looking at him with their mouths forming an 'o'
"What a dick move, man." Off shakes his head
"Can't believe you'd do that." Film shakes her head as well
"I don't know what Win did to you for you to treat him that way." Podd shakes his head too
"He haven't done anything bad to me." Bright mutters but he knows his friends heard him
"See? Your reason on doing that is totally not reasonable." Podd says
All Bright could do is to let out a heavy deep breath
"And why do you keep maintaining that heartthrob slash heartbreaker image of yours?" Film asks
"I'm still finding the right person to change that." Bright shrugs
"I think you already found that person." Podd says
And they looked at him
Podd just smiles at them
