I love you more - A Zelink Fanfic

Chapter 1

Link's P.O.V

"Hello, my great and awesome and powerful and um... great best friend for life!" Zelda calls to Link. He was waiting by the school gates for Zelda.

"Did you hit your head or something?" Link has an annoyed yet, amused look on his face.

"Oh, why would you ever say that my dear friend?" Zelda is batting her eyes but she clearly wants something if she is being this nice.

"What do you want from me? There must be something. And why are you late?" Gosh, she usually calls me an egghead this early in the morning. I guess this isn't too bad though...

Usually, Link and Zelda walk to school together but today Zelda was late for some reason. She doesn't normally sleep in so it was weird to see her running to school with toast in her mouth.

"Okay fiiinnneee. I do want something." Zelda says while finishing her toast.

"And what is that?" Link can't help but laugh. She looks too darn cute.

"I want fun!"

"What."

"It has been so boring lately. I want to have some fun! We haven't hung out in sooo long."

"I guess your right. I have been a bit busy studying." Link thinks about it for a while.

"Well, where do you want to go?"

"We can go to this new boba shop." Zelda smiles.

"That sounds great. Date and time?"

"Friday at 2? We could hang out at my house later too!"

"Sounds great." Link smiles back at Zelda.

"Oh, Zelda, why were you late?"

Zelda's P.O.V

Honestly, I was planning this whole thing in my head last night so I couldn't fall asleep but I don't know if I should tell him... Who am I kidding? Link is my best friend. He would never make fun of me.

"Not gonna lie, I was planning this whole conversation in my head last night. I couldn't get to sleep."

"The whole conversation..?" Link looks astonished. She hasn't done something that nice for... well, ever.

"Umm, yeah but like I said, I couldn't get to sleep!" 

"That was nice of you." Link couldn't help but smile. He was also trying pretty hard not to laugh. Typical tsundere Zelda.

"Oh dear Zelda." Link couldn't hold back his laughter anymore. Zelda's tie was crooked.

"Here let me help." Link comes closer to Zelda to fix her tie. At this point, they are both blushing.

"Thank you Link. I mean, I could have fixed it myself you know!"

"I do." Link goes back to smiling instead of laughing.

Zelda starts laughing. I can't be mean when he is this cute.

The bell rings and everyone that was outside started to walk to their classes.

"I guess I will see you after school?" Link asks.

"Yup!" 

The rest of the day, Zelda couldn't pay attention in class. All she was thinking about was seeing Link's adorable face after school ended.

Hey guys! I hope you enjoyed the first chapter of this fanfic. I know it was short but there was a lot of dialogue that I wanted to get through so you can better understand their personalities and I promise the next chapters will be better. I'm not sure how long this fanfic will be but I guess it depends on how much you like it. Thank you for reading.
